I just bought a Rapport London watch box, that holds 10 watches. It’s in black crocodile leather, and is a truly beautiful watch box.Congratulations on yours, and your beautiful watch collection.
It’s lovely the black version, and I’m very happy with it. I was looking at the watch box you chose, and would be more than happy if I had bought that instead. Both are a win win. 👍
Finally someone reviewed this thing!!! I didn't want to spend the $1k until i knew if this was any good. Thanks for doing this! This was the exact box i was looking at too.
True. I never saw any thorough video review on this box on YT. But I can now vouch for it. This is a high-quality watch box. And the color is great. But whether it is worth the price? I think it is, but that is a very personal opinion.
What I'm planning to do now is get some sort of tiered corner shelf with a backlight so I can display my collection almost like ornaments when I'm not wearing them. I love the boxes the come in, and feel as though each one sat in its open box will be a nice way to have them in the bedroom. Love the yellow gold Daytona. Best watch in your collection here, IMO.
Beautiful collection and watch box. I have both the Patek, Louis Vuitton and Audemars Piguet travel pouches/rolls/boxes. I prefer the AP box for traveling. Square, one watch, well made and fits perfectly in the suitecase.
Nice watch box! And a wonderful watch collection. I've been trying to find a nice box for my small but growing collection and this checks all the boxes.
I have a wolf box holds 10 watches. I use the old fashioned plastic rolex watch coffin boxes I used to get one with every watch I bought their no longer available but I find these so easy and safe to use. Great collection 😊👍🏻
My favorite is the Everest 6 watch roll, I bought two for my collection. Unfortunately I just went on their website and they don’t make the 6 piece ones anymore ☹️. Btw your collection is A1 👌🏽✨ never get tired of your updates!
Incredible collection! You mentioned other brands' pillows were too large for you - did you try Scatola del Tempo? I'm looking at them but my 6.4" wrist also has trouble finding adequate pillows. I don't have a store near me to check them out, so wondering if you had any experience and what your wrist size is
That's a nice box. I had a watchbox that was falling apart. When I bought a Longines watch it came in a nice wood and leather box. I cut apart the grid from my old watch box to fit inside the Longines box. I bought new higher quality pillows to fit, and now my new Longines box holds 8 watches.
So I went for an 8 piece box by JP Menucci (from Bulang and sons- who make/ sell brilliant straps as well). Might go for a Charles Simmons at some stage. Off topic- what are your thoughts on the VC overseas dual time (Blue dial, bracelet, subjective opinion vs the RO). And have you tried the VC 56?
Great review as always, thanks! Btw, on your Explorer 36, is it 4+6 links? Asking because I’m trying to find a box with cushions that fit nicely. Most are way too big…
You would need to visit the Authorized Dealer. They can order any strap directly from Patek Philippe. The standard straps take about 3 weeks, the custom straps take about 3 months.
@@TheWinteristthey have access to a Patek website to order the strap. You can choose from the computer screen images which strap and buckle you want. There are many colors and textures to choose from. But you need to be careful, my grey strap looked lighter in person than on the computer.
Great video and love the new box. Will have to check out Rapport London after seeing the quality. I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I’m always shocked you don’t have any vintage pieces. Do you simply prefer the news ones over older ones?
Looks nice. You need two of them 🙂 I'm also casually looking for one as the collection is growing but not yet decided to buy an expensive box. I'm more thinking of something made from (Italian) leather than wooden.
I’ve recently noticed and now it’s bothering me… why does Patek design their subdial UNDER the actual hands. Typically there is some room between the center of the watch and the subdial. Makes no sense to me.
Solid collection. Though my OCD tells me you should move the DD up & lose the Daytona on oysterflex (you already have a full gold Daytona) Then get a 5th Patek (5172G chrono) for bottom right & call it a day 👍🏻. 5 Rolex top & 5 Patek bottom 🔥
That is the plan. I have already asked for a 5726/1A to complete the bottom row. I just don’t know which Rolex to let go. I like them all, so it would be difficult to part with any one of them.
@@sc1think it has to be one of the Chronos to remove that duplication on that complication. Maybe actually lose the all gold chrono. That way you’ll have one rose gold piece & one yellow piece in the DD. You’ll also have the rubber strap for added variety.
@@sc1 If you know you want to maintain SC, that's already more than enough of a brief for a serious graphic designer (maybe you can use it for other applications too). Your watches and clothes require something a little better thought out, it's all part of the branding after all. Have a good week-end.
Nice Collection your collection cost more than my house, and all my things combined. I’m always hesitant and embarrassed showing off my watch collection online. To me it’s not really worth it.
Honestly I would move the yellow gold Daytona, Daydate and Pepsi into 2 other watches from AP, VC, langa or another Patek. Your collecting has so much class but I feel is let down by for lack of a better word, car dealer watches (full yellow gold). The Sub and Explorer are good travel watches and the rose gold Daytona is stunning I must say. I get the cool factor of the white gold Pepsi (sleeper) but I wouldn't want to be assorted with the steel wearers. A lot of guys with your sort of collection have moved completely away from Rolex, great daily wears but I think you're well pass the brand as a collector. I wouldn't want Patek money tired up in a Rolex personally. The collection is amazing that goes without say and I love Rolex but its time to get your winds caterpillar.

What a beautiful box for a beautiful collection. Congratulations on your purchase

The box is really cool and a good way to store prized collections - away from scratch surfaces. Incredible collection!
Amazing collection, amazing box. Great presentation. Thank you for sharing.
Bro, you collection is amazing 🤩 They look so good in that box!
Thanks dude!
Wow, amazing collection. All collections deserve a nice box 👌
Congratulations on getting a rapport watchbox theyre so classy makes your collection look even better. Cheers

Beautiful watch box, but an absolutely insane watch collection 🔥

There is another watchbox example in my latest video.
Great box. I also have one from Rapport but in a lighter colour wood. Collection is looking great 👍
Thanks 👍
Love the box! Beautiful collection!

thanks, dude 👍🏻
Love your collection we have similar taste. Weekly calendar is next for me on the list.

Hi SC! Congrats on the nice video. Curious to know which Patek you end up wearing the most in the end?
Definitely the 5226G gets worn the most, then the 5212A.
That's a nice box.

I hoping to visit the Vacheron Boutique later this month when I go to NYC. I would like to take a look at the Overseas.

yes, exactly. 4 and 6 links
Can you go over ordering a patek strap? I'm literally about to do that for my 6119R, no information about it online
You would need to visit the Authorized Dealer. They can order any strap directly from Patek Philippe. The standard straps take about 3 weeks, the custom straps take about 3 months.
@@sc1 Thank you. what was the process like, is there a catalog of colors? Looking to match strap to dial

What size is your wrist? I always have a hard time choosing a watch box because of my wrist size...🤦♂
My wrist is 6.5 inches. 36mm watches fit best for me. 40mm gets large, but if it is a good watch, I don’t mind if it is large.

Thinking of buying a Patek 6119G. Are you still enjoying it? Just curious.
Yes, I still enjoy owning it. It is just slightly too large for my wrist, but it is very thin and very classy.

Could You tell me your opinion about Rolex calibre 3230? I’ve heard that it’s full rubbish
I really don't have the expertise to comment in the 3230. It has not failed me yet, but I must refrain from making any further comment on it.

Here we go, the patek snob has entered the comments
I think he has an excellent collection to be fair.
