Great review and installation! Just bought a 2000 pursuit cc with just as old of a clarion cd stereo. Been looking into the RA210 and 4 xs series speakers to replace, how’re you liking it so far? Not planning on running an amp just yet, I’ve installed quite of few car stereos so I imagine wiring is the same in terms of just connecting the speakers directly to the head unit
Thanks! More or less it’s the same. I’ve done a bunch of car stereos myself as well. Just remember that everything needs to be rated for salt water, and use dielectric grease where you can. The headunit really made a noticeable difference, even after I had upgraded to that Skar system.
@@boatingpropless okay so relatively similar. Placed the order looking forward to getting it installed. Going to use your video as a guide for sure. I picked up some marine grade speaker wire today, didn’t even think about dielectric grease thanks! Lol have heard BT has intermittent issues sometimes, have you had any of these issues or do you use the usb?
Thank you! Just having the built in Bluetooth was a huge upgrade in sound quality. This radio has a setting to adjust preout power as well. The sound is clean and crisp, and coupled with the speakers still gives a punch!
Thanks Leon! The fusion radio isn't technically classified as a DIN, as most aftermarket automotive radios usually are. It has a "marine" label so they probably make it non-standard to hit you with more cost with adapters lol! The radio will take standard 12V with a max draw of 15amps. It's 50watts x 4 if you decide to use the internal amplifier built in the radio. After using it for a bit, i may make another video about my experience!
Do you know a lot about marine audio? I have 4 6.5” skars on my boat now, I’m looking to install the 1000watt 4channel amp and 8” marine sub on my boat, that should be fine with no issues correct?
I didn’t do anything. The draw should be so minimal (if at all) that it shouldn’t have an effect on the battery. I trailer the boat, and manually disconnect the batteries with a switch after every outing. When I turn it on, the radio retains all its settings including the time.
Can you help me, my brother, with this work? My father had this craft and I did not learn much from it. I am from Morocco and I am 31 years old.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
lol that’s where I had my knob to control the speaker on the swim deck. I’m not touching fiberglass to try and fix it. I found that stainless bolt to fit perfectly there. Easy peasy, and it wasn’t worth filling.
Just discovered fusion. Thanks for info and detailed vlog. Nice one 🙂🙂
Thank you! Enjoy the radio, it’s awesome!
Really nice video, thanks!
No problem!! 😀
This is so helpful! Thank you!
No problem! 👍🏻
Great video - Thanks !!
Nice video
Thank you!
Good clean installation job, by chance where did you get your wireless phone charger
Thank you! It's the Scanstrut SC-CW-05E Rokk Wireless Edge. At some point I’ll have enough time to edit the video!

Looks great Mike! How would you rate the change in sound quality?

Excellent video! So is this radio a Single Din, and what is its onboard power? I don’t use amplifiers.

That 1000w with be good for the 4 6.5s, but the sub will need its own amp. You’ll have to match an amp with the RMS of the sub speaker.
How hard was it to match up the speaker zones? I have two zones and no subs. Also, where did you connect the fuses directly to, the battery?
What do you mean by match up the zones? I connected the fuses to a power block I had installed. Keeps the wires neat and off the battery
Hi there, what size is the opening you have on the panel? The radio hole.. lol
The old radio I feel was a bit larger than the standard DIN size opening
Now a video on installing a 2500 watt mono channel alpine with 2 12s in a crosstrek. Lol
if only someone would give me that hardware to install it into my Subaru lol
What did you do to cut the power to the yellow so it doesn't drain your battery when the power is off?

Do we just ignore the bullet hole upper left?

.... what brand phone holder is that? Thanks!
It’s the Scanstrut SC-CW-05E Rokk Wireless Edge. Easy install, It’s in the que for an install video!
Will this work for the MS-770
The dimensions look similar. I would just double check with whichever kit you buy.
