Harald, I'm in a powered wheelchair so I am unable to travel like you do but I am able to vicariously travel through you. This is the beauty of the internet, Thank you, Harald.
Was gonna heart your comment but that'd be bad taste given your predicament. Sucks that this happened to you but glad you're getting something out of the vids 😊
Sorry to hear about your situation but if it makes you feel better, most people can’t travel like this even if they’re not disabled. I love these videos for that reason too. I can’t afford to travel Europe or South America. Hell I’ve only been to a few states in the USA
@@codegrey9944 Yeah, I'm shaking my head looking at the gear Harald has. He needs a warm coat at least and a waterproof shell. Love this video series but I don't see how he is gonna get up a 6000m peak with the gear (or lack of) he currently has... especially in winter!!
We all Nepalese are so happy and grateful for all the effort you're putting to make our country better for tourism . We thank you for your kind and effort. Thanks a lot.🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
Haraldo deserves every penny he gets from YT ad revenue, because not only he's helping local businesses but also because he is promoting everywhere he goes, with his entertaining vlogs! जय नेपाल !
It was always my dream to hike in the Himalayas .....but ........ at 80 that dream will not be possible now ..... but ..... I am living my dream through your adventures. Thank you Harald. Take care my friend.
Was waiting for this impatiently. This trekking series is much better than any Netflix web series! Thanks Harald for quality content every time and this series is the best❤️!
This is my probably favorite video from your channel . I come back and watch this every now and then . Hopefully you do more hiking videos in the future.
I really respect Harald's travelling skills. He's so relaxed even in frightening situations I don't ever see myself attempting. You can't reach that level of relaxedness unless you have experience. Wow!
In the end where Harald is laying on the bed with his “vlogged out” arms after trekking like a beast for 13 hours saying his iconic “was I filming? Yes I was” was hilarious. Hope to see more badass adventures like this. ✌️
all of that ending was epic:') from the moment he entered the room, then the aching arms, but still got to check the shower head, but then desperately breathing, and then falling in bed exhausted, so funny:')
I don't know why people don't understand that you, Harold, actually are one of the few vloggers who actually try to help as many people as you can. I have been watching you since the India vlog times and I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for the people there.
Thats so true, ive never thought of how much Harald actually gives to the people and it is sooo true, he really helps the needing, hard working people, all the time, even at the highest mountains now with such an kind and respectfull way to be against other human beings. The hell, you know what.. Imma go one round thrue all of Haralds videos and given them a thumbs up for the algorythms so others can learn from this kind of people, that they infact do exist, even in a world full of chaos and fear.
Harald is living legend. He helped so many in his jurney it is hard to count from local people, to people that try to make a change to rising youtubers... and this is only what we know. He is helping many behind camera I am sure. From India, Sri Lanka to Africa, USA, EU, ... He is real Viking!
Not only is he helping the people on his journey, he's helping people explore the world who may never get the opportunity to explore it themselves in person.
This is basically the whole series like "Fireball Peak", which is probably one of my favorite videos. Episodes with people in them are fine, but some of the coziest moments are when he's off on his own.
I like how you are so "casually" dressed, with these few hikers about with their walking sticks, rain-proof outfits, scarfs, gloves and hats hahaha you're a beast
Harald , I was having dinner with my family and mom (who's a professor of history) said, people like you are contributing to the making of another chapter of history for our future generations with the help of internet. Exploring the unexplored which was only written down in the books till now. I love the raw way of presenting the content and find them so addictive. Will love to have a meet or go on a trip with you once you are back in 🇮🇳
This video really feels like your magnum opus to me... So many elements almost went awry, the final stop continued to prove more and more elusive as time went on. I haven't been this thrilled or anxious watching youtube in years. This video just stuck with me for some reason. You started the day so routinely, then trekked through a ghost town and past fog which obscured your hands in front of you, I simply couldn't accomplish the same.
This journey will go down as one of the most inspirational travel series ever created. Hats off to you Harald to motivating people to get out there, explore, and create new experiences.

I love how he passed that couple who were head to toe in proper cold weather gear with insulated jackets and pants and Harald just casually passes them in a cheap knitted sweater. 13 hour hike man you are a badass Harald.
Harald, i need to commend you on your narration and sense of humor. It's admirable how the quality doesn't dwindle when you are hungry, alone out there, despite the long, solitary trek in those solemn, silent mountains & how it must be affecting you mentally. Your style of "vlogging" is amazing; simple, minimal editing, great camera angles. I have been watching your videos for years now, and your journeys always inspire me.

This takes me back. I did the Manaslu trekking with a group of really good friends back in 2016 and it was the most impressive trekking i have ever done. We have been up to 5100 meters through Larke Pass. One of our friends busted her ankle on day 2 and had to take the helicopter flight back. It dawned to me: the only way out of here is on your own feet or by helicopter. The mountains are so high, it`s amazing truly. I still feel blessed that i got to experience this.
I’ve never gotten tired watching the adventures of Harald Baldr. You are a great human being exploring far away partes of our planet and letting see your discoveries along with us who are traveling along with you Harald. Thank youuuuu. Friend and héroe.

Harald the Viking sojourner: no documentarian films, National Geographic, travel promotion commercials; can bring such raw contents as you man! There are places I'd never known existed much less going there, if not for your travel vlogs. You deserve an Academy award of motion vlogs!
Hi Harald. By chance I came across your channel a few days ago and what a great discovery that was. In one breath I have watched your Himalaya hike so far. What an adventure! You know how to make it so that stop watching in the meantime is not an option. I admire your adventures that you undertake on your own. I love the way you communicate with the local population, something tourists should all do. That way you show real respect for them and get so much in return. Harald, keep on moving and keep your head up. I will definitely follow you. Kind regards from Holland from Hans.
What I love about his vlogs is its simplicity, no backgroud music no quick cut shots no drone shots just raw and real fells like I am there with him on the treck.
On a mountain trek near Pokhara a few years ago now, we came across remains of a town that had been just a few days before completely swept away by falling rocks many the size of a bus. The trail was gone and our guide had to show us both across a steep unstable gravel slope to safety instead of the previous existing safe route. Just goes to show how mountains can change one's plans. Good luck with improving your axe wielding Norseman skills.
This is the best series you have done so far. I just took one year off my jobb and my plan is (after watching your videos) among other things is going to this trekk you are doing seems amazing. You my friend are an inspiration too all of us. Much love from Sweden! Take care and stay safe!
My friends have done some passes on Nepal they are no joke and they had each to keep them motivated and moving, big respect for your journey and thank you for sharing it…. Rest now and see you on your next big adventure.
It's so amazing to see you taking this adventure. Even though you're by yourself, you're not alone. At least when you visit these small villages. It's very kind of you to at least buy a tea from the locals. They live so simply, and the majority of us wouldn't survive one day in their shoes. Great videos. Keep them coming.
The two fascinating things in this himalayan episode are: 1: The never leaving piece of clothe in Heraldo's hand. 2: Capturing the walking and coming back to pick the camera after few steps. 😘😜😃
Man, I love watching your experiences! I have multiple sclerosis and don't think my body would hold up on an adventure like this, it's a pleasure to get to live vicariously. Big thanks, haraldo!
My anxiety level was rising when it was getting dark 😂 whether he'd be able to make it on time or not. That's how much viewers connect with his videos. Love from Nepal. ❤
Thank you so much for showing our beautiful country Nepal to all people. Our culture, road, river, hill and humanity are very impressive.Keep it up brother.
As a fellow Norwegian, Thank you Harald for visiting all these places I've always wanted to visit myself, seeing it through your lens makes it seem more beautiful than I imagined. Someday I will follow in your footsteps and visit these places too and I will be thanking you in my head the whole time for showing me the proper way. Also love your vids and your editing style!
Probably the best and scenic trekking vlog ever made on TH-cam history….what a legend, you know the day was great when every inch of your body hurts as you enter to your room! That’s how legends end there day🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻 keep going 💪🏽 strong!
Wonderful! I especially appreciate your generosity toward the Nepalese along the way. The rushing water is a welcomed backdrop to your hike, and your positive nature excels.
I have been following you now since quite of time. This might be one of the best series you have ever made. I love those long vlogs. I know you probably would never do it, but I would love to see something like this in your home country in Norway. Just for the viking vibes.
Yeah...I was thinking the same thing yesterday. It would also be interesting for me to hear him speak Norwegian (that is, more than 3 words he did in the favela)
Harald - I have been watching you since the beginning and must say you have now become a master it. This series on Nepal brings out the best of you in everything - content quality, videography, your maturity and empathy for people and nature. Grandiose Harald, keep trucking
I don’t remember when I found your channel but I’m glad I did. Every now and again I come back to your videos. Your commentary and ability to get along with everyone is amazing.
Herald I have been following you on this journey me being Ugandan TH-camr am learning a lot from you and you inspire me a lot . I love this himalaya trek and the hospitality that the people from their are giving is is lit Harald greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬
Based on your experience when you finally settled down in your room it's clear the adrenaline and endorphins were propping you up for the last several hours of your hike. Very impressive
Your blogging is extra ultimate level. Coz you had hold everyone in anticipation for almost 60 minutes in these hiking videos. Amazing picturesque and toughest tracks .God Bless You Always
We love your way of dealing with the locals and showing how they live in a difficult environment. Please keep making more shows in the beautiful environments in Nepal. Be safe and take care of yourself.
It's not easy walking up N down on mountain areas. I, myself went for hiking dorzens of times at such area so I know how difficult it is. We started from morning 6 to evening 5 and at the end of day, our legs felt so weak that we can't even stand properly. So I'm impress how he can still do it while narrating the scene... ✌
What a legend.. people stay at home if not go home for celebrate Xmas 🎄 with their family and this guy sacrifice all that and stay on his own making video for us huge respect ✊.. for those people who trolls him about Viking they do explore and you are a true Viking ..
Take care of yourself. Man… I was worrying about you on this trek and I’m in shape and 39! I can breathe and not cry now that I know you’re safe. Love all you do and thank you for the AMAZING scenery! You are a true VIKING! No DNA needed! TAKE CARE
Wherever Heraldo goes the content creates automatically and I really loved your all Himalayas series . Thank you 🙏 for visiting my country Nepal 🇳🇵 and showing to the world 🌎 the beauty of nature .
The Himalayas are a beautiful part of the world. I did a tour on a motorcycle in Nepal and had a hard time keeping my eyes on the dirt roads/tracks because of the spectacular and majestic scenery.
Watching from Australia. Another great adventure to add to my top viewing list . Thanks for a incredibly epic journey Harald through beautiful Nepal and beyond .
Better than any video subscription! No need for Netflix, hulu, Disney+ (etc) thank you Harold for your awesome vlogs! Stay safe! It’s 1:41 here in Cali, I was about to go to bed, looks like I have to go to bed in 1hr!👍
Harold I like your videos . you hike so far by yourself i would have to go with some friend especially in another country and thanks for making these videos. You put a lot of hard work in these and the tea house are great and cheap it is crazy how cheap everything is.the expansive part is the plain flights and energy you have to expend
Just if you didn't know Herald, Ghoda Tablea translets to Horses' Stable. Just a thought, the best part of Herald's story telling is when he talks to trees, animals, stones and stuff. Cracks me up every single time as if it was the first time. Keep the videos coming Herald. Absolutely love em!
When he talks to animals, he sounds so genuine that some times i expect the animal to respond. Lol because he says, Hello to the animal as if he expects the animal to resond and so i do. Lol It sure is funny. I relate to your comment so i commented. Take care. We enjoy the same parts of Haralds journey. ✋😁✋
Bravo ! As one who treks in the Himalayas himself but nothing compared to your effort, I salute you. I have been watching your posts since you traveled through India with Mr Bald. Most other travel vlogs look pedestrian compared to this post of yours.
Agree.. even I have been following him since his visit to India. But this series has set the bar too high. Not sure if any other vlog/vlogger will match this.
Much better than Karl Rock Nepal videos where he only stays in tourist areas deliberately looking for scams and clickbaits his videos. This Nepali viewer approves this real Nepali content.🇳🇵🇳🇴
He came nepal just to meet his wife He just want to earn money that he had spend in Nepal He is big scammer no need to watch his video neither need to talk about him He is just an attention seeker
@@bittertruth7630 so lets just ignore the scams, prostitution n blatant drug dealing of tourists .. with Karl exposing such activities hopefully it can be curbed!!
Its okay brother. Karl does that everywhere he goes. We must accept our flaws as well. But we know nepal is not like that. Us hospitable people and beautiful nature offers much more than just that. Every beautiful thing has a small dark spot just like the moon. Chill bro😉
Karl's videos have their own utility . Dont dismiss them outrightly . Those videos are great help to a great many tourists who are naive and inexperienced .
You're a good man Harald. I really like the way you engage with and respect the people you meet. That was a long day though and I bet those lights were a welcome sight after 13 hours. Well done!

I love the way you communicate with the local population, something tourists should all do. That way you show real respect for them and get so much in return. Harald, keep on moving and keep your head up. I will definitely follow you. Kind regards from Holland from Hans.
Watch his Vietnam and Peru epsides they are great
@@truefalse207 I will one day. Thanks for the tip.
What I love about his vlogs is its simplicity, no backgroud music no quick cut shots no drone shots just raw and real fells like I am there with him on the treck.
Hiked on Christmas and on sacred ground where people lost their lives. One of your best!
Keep them coming.
so clearly remember sitting at that very bench at riverside and having some snickers. really miss Nepal! planning a trip back soon hopefully.
The two fascinating things in this himalayan episode are:
1: The never leaving piece of clothe in Heraldo's hand.
2: Capturing the walking and coming back to pick the camera after few steps.
😘😜😃
Curious about #1 too!
I believe it's a wool sock he's keeping the camera in
@@nicholaschampion3107 ah, makes total sense. Thanks.
Lol. I was wondering about #1 as well
#2 always puts a different touch on the videos, love it lol
Man, I love watching your experiences! I have multiple sclerosis and don't think my body would hold up on an adventure like this, it's a pleasure to get to live vicariously. Big thanks, haraldo!
You can
I can see my beautiful country through your eyes 👀 Thank you Harald ❤️ watching you from Japan.
Fearless, determined , passionate, generous and insanely entertaining. Love watching your videos Harald. Be safe.
I'm so grateful to be experiencing an era of content like this. So much more genuine and real-feeling than travel on TV.
My anxiety level was rising when it was getting dark 😂 whether he'd be able to make it on time or not.
That's how much viewers connect with his videos.
Love from Nepal. ❤
my2
omg same haha
I love your videos where you are in the wild instead of crowded cities. Good job and very interesting!
How to buy membership…. I don’t see any options to join or anything?
Thank you so much for showing our beautiful country Nepal to all people. Our culture, road, river, hill and humanity are very impressive.Keep it up brother.
As a fellow Norwegian, Thank you Harald for visiting all these places I've always wanted to visit myself, seeing it through your lens makes it seem more beautiful than I imagined. Someday I will follow in your footsteps and visit these places too and I will be thanking you in my head the whole time for showing me the proper way. Also love your vids and your editing style!
Fake id you are not a Norwegian
@@abhinavmahan4006 You caught me, I'm Swedish and Norwegian.
I’m an American and hope to see the fjords of Norway one day. I low key want to see Harold to do a vlog of his own country for once.
He deserves every dollar he gets from YT .unlike some other TH-camrs with silly contents just to make a buck. My hat is off for Harald
I think the same....
Deeply thankful for all the kind souls and hotels up there in the trail to serve, without them cannot imagine this wonderful journey! 🙏
This shows us how one person can do to inspire us all. Thank you!!
I don’t remember when I found your channel but I’m glad I did. Every now and again I come back to your videos. Your commentary and ability to get along with everyone is amazing.
As a fellow solo traveler, you’re always inspiration. Been my favorite channel for years. Thanks Harald!
Herald I have been following you on this journey me being Ugandan TH-camr am learning a lot from you and you inspire me a lot . I love this himalaya trek and the hospitality that the people from their are giving is is lit Harald greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬

Typing mistake I guess 😁
@@carolinelove937 no inspire is right
Expire 😆😆
@@ab_vlogs5905 sorry typing error
TAKE CARE
It’s brilliant how you want to give everyone some business. Every little helps 🙏🏽 Hats off to your Harald ❤️
Love the contrast how every other hiker is properly equiped and then there is heraldo with a hoody sneakers and a camera
Were those ponies?
This guy doesn't cut corners. He really goes though the experiences.
That we see yes.
Def
Big respect!!Dispite you marched in the dark (how tough and dangerous it was!) you still kept calm and relaxed!you a real adventurer!!!!
Much better than Karl Rock Nepal videos where he only stays in tourist areas deliberately looking for scams and clickbaits his videos.
This Nepali viewer approves this real Nepali content.🇳🇵🇳🇴
He came nepal just to meet his wife
He just want to earn money that he had spend in Nepal
He is big scammer no need to watch his video neither need to talk about him
He is just an attention seeker
Watched the whole video without skipping a frame. It was adventurous and loved the way Herald described each moments he passed by.
This is probably one of the best series i have watched. Great Heraldo!
Harold, I am truly loving this series. I feel this is your best work to date!
You're a good man Harald. I really like the way you engage with and respect the people you meet. That was a long day though and I bet those lights were a welcome sight after 13 hours. Well done!
Nothing better than waking up on a Saturday seeing on your notifications that Harald has uploaded. Can't wait to indulge another episode of this northman conquering the mountains of Nepali!
I from Nepal but I never been there thank you so much Harald. You made us a part of it
Really appreciating
Been years and I still can’t get enough of his adventures, inspires me to go out and enjoy our beautiful planet 🌎
I go out to Nepal myself. My next treck is Kailash. Best place and people you can find your self in and around. Jai Jai Nepal 🇳🇵
So you already did himalaya trip?
The perilous expedition continues and the Northman walks alone, powered on by chow mein and a vision! "See you in Langtang"!
Take care Harald ❤️.... Himalayas was the toughest journey in my entire life....it is both beautiful and challenging
Who else is here for Harald awesomeness? Need no answers. Amazing man! Please visit North-East India.
Been watching the whole Himalayan trek the views are astonishing stay safe an happy travels 🙏🏽
Those last 20minutes are just something else! I am speechless. Just wow.
Don’t ever stop making these videos, I love watching them! You are so inspiring and these videos keep me focussed on my goals
This series of videos is truly wonderful. I’ve been savoring each one per day so I feel like I am traveling with you along the way.
