This show was some straight up Woodstock shit. We waited in line for over an hour in the pouring rain getting totally soaked.. it was the most insane, memorable experience of my life.... I was legit almost In tears from the music.. These guys infront of us took off their shoes and socks and started dancing and jumping around in the puddles of water... massive crowd all dancing and tons of positive energy... David bowie into Carini is TOP TEIR STUFF!!! LEGENDARY! It might sound corny but my life is honestly changed... I've been obsessed ever since... I can't stop thinking or listening to phish. I'm so glad I got to experience them live. I feel renergized.. 😃😃😃
This was legit how I was feeling. I want to hit as many shows as possible now. I flew up from Florida to see this show. First time in Michigan won’t be my last. I was lucky and got pavilion and wore a poncho so I was a bit more dryer than others
After waiting for weather updates, I headed for the venue determined to see anything. They never checked my ticket until the pit wristband. I was there within minutes and texted all friends that the gates were indeed open. What followed was one set of solid, unconscious Phish. Super jam versions. So much love in front of the stage. I'm still shaking my head a week later. Flying to Dick's soon....
One of my favorite things about watching and listening to fish videos not to mention the incredible sound quality I really enjoy when they pan out into the audience and people are just moving grooving shaking just having a good time and that makes me feel good
I was there, it was raining like crazy and STILL people were grooving like their life depended on it. On the lawn and in the much dryer pavilion, every single person seemed to be dancing with total abandon and unstoppable glee. Phish concerts by far have the most people dancing that ive ever seen.
I am dumbfounded by the longevity of you guys. My first show was '97 Bonner Springs. This KDF is one of the best I have heard, 25 years after having seen you live for the first time. My hat is off!

it made the show even better to me, how often do you get to see your favorite band in the rain? and even though it was just 1 set, they definitely made it worth while for those who stayed
We like that you now show clips of the light show and the band on stage both, I remember way back when I showed my friends MkDevo's videos of your light shows to make them understand why Phish was cool and buy tickets to your shows back when your own videos didn't show your light show. You should apologize to him for getting his channel deleted because it's obvious you took a video recording lesson from him after realizing your phans wanted to see your light shows in their videos. That guy made it his personal mission to make you popular and made you a lot of money inspiring people to go to your shows, and inspired a lot of other people to record them and post them too, which inspired a lot of other people to go - give these people the credit they deserve!
This was the only show that I have attended where I was absolutely drenched from a downpour. And yes, I did drape my waterlogged clothes in the hall! 😂
My first and def not my last. An absolutely amazing evening and one of the best shows I’ve ever been a part of in my 62 years of spinning around the Sun. What’s the tease at 9:20?
Went to the concert...this was the third song....they went right to the anthems! My first Phish show...will not be my last. Thanks for posting the video! By the way who was the special guest at the show?

I was wetter than a phish i. Water. I didnt care. If anyone remembers this show, the rain stopped when the band came onstage. I looove the hell out of this song. This cute thing blew me during this song then left. I never saw her again. She asked if she could. I said sure. Only time i wasnt dancing.

i was there, and can confirm when i got home i draped my water logged clothes in the hall. They went deep this night, wasted no time getting serious.

That was one of the craziest will they/won't they play concerts ever. That storm was so gnarly. What a great show, so glad they rocked it.

Phish
Worth the wait. Who doesn’t love a 2 hour heater set, right? Got intense. One of fav Phish experiences and I’ve been seeing them since ‘97

'97 Bonner Springs was my second show!
My first tour. 97 raged, but it's just as great today
Sobriety definitely saved trey. Still rocking.

Until I do it again!🤭 I'm blown away and we didn't even hear it all but I'm certainly grateful for what we did get to hear. Trey was rockin out!💜💬
they are still playing and going strong I one of their biggest fans I remember seeing them in convcert
Nice! Definitely the best version I have heard in the past few years.
Great JOY to hear this.

Love the freeway jam tease at 9:21 - you hear Trey play it then Mike picks it up almost immediately on the next riff
2nd tease of the tour....
what is the freeway jam

A young girl named Jovi. Trey played with her earlier in the year in Grand Rapids. She sings Bug. They exchanged gifts during the show
Thank you for posting this! We were afraid that the awesome Pine Knob show would get neglected.
