Tell Adrew to try fresh chicken breast for bait to catch his fish...also he should walk in further or deeper water on the beach... Was there a fishing shop I would pop my head into there and asked them...😂❤😂❤ Nice shell design on the beach...catlefish come from squid I am shaw...great for someone has chickens or birds calcium for them for the eggs... Did U go to Rhodes as used to be best place to buy Lobster...😂❤😂❤
I enjoyed the vlog, so relaxing to enjoy your journey, such a nice family water experience, thank you for taking us along with your family, the kids need a truck load of sand at home, the Pelican zoom is impressive, when I used to scuba dive at night, I always thought the fish would be in the deep where in fact they slept in the shallows on the edge sideways so the big fish can't get them whilst asleep, look forward to your videos, thank you so much.
There wasn't a fishing shop, believe it or not! And since the town was soooo quiet when we were there, we couldn't even ask the locals for their expert advice. So, we had no luck. I'm sure the place is swimming with fish in the warmer months, but in the winter cold, it was a no go. We had tried chicken breast at other places fishing before, but didn't try that here in Kingston. It genuinely was just so full of seaweed that even if fish were there they would have been too hard to catch! And do you mean Robe? We drove past Robe when we were making our way down to Mount Gambier after this trip, but we didn't stop in as it required a slight detour off the freeway to get over there. We'll have to keep that in mind though in the future. Andrew loves his lobster and all things seafood!
So glad you continue to enjoy our videos, Colin. We are indeed quite lucky to have a superzoom camera to capture some unique shots most people wouldn't be able to - and from a safe distance where they aren't spooked (sometimes the drone can spook the animals if it gets too close). Stay tuned for a future video at Portland VIC as we got some excellent footage of the local seal colonies in that one!! And yes, where there is sand, there is happy kids! I don't know how they can handle the feeling of being covered in that rough, fine sand all the time haha, but it keeps them happy and it's free, so it's a winning situation at the end of the day!
