You were the only person I found that showed a simple way to find your angles. 👌🏽
I use the KISS method. Keep It Stupid Simple lol
Thank you!!! Best detailed explanation I've found of how to do this. You didn't skip any steps, or leave anything out. I really appreciate it!
Welcome. Thanks for watching!
Great work.man!! I like that you showed how you actually did your angles, I've watched a tons of these ramp videos 90% never explain that most crucial part. Thank you !!!
Welcome. That’s why I made the video. It’s actually super easy
Excellent work I will do similar in my shed thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Great job...super impressed.
Thanks for watching! Ramp still holding strong over here. Super simple to build
Excellent video! Thank you for making it.
Thanks and you’re very welcome!
I been watching videos all day and you finally have one here that has really helped me out on how to build my ramp for my building. Thanks man!! 👍👍
Welcome! Thanks for watching
Good job
Thank you for watching!
Never mind - saw that you measured it at 6'
Where did you get the aluminum edge? Do you have a link ?
Lowes I think. 3/4-in W x 3/4-in H x 8-ft L Mill Finished Aluminum Solid Angle www.lowes.com/pd/Steelworks-3-4-in-W-x-3-4-in-H-x-8-ft-L-Mill-Finished-Aluminum-Solid-Angle/3058169
Thanks for the link! Was looking for something like this and could not nail it down😂
@@clockworkbadger2363 Welcome
But what were you using the triangle measuring tool for at 5:30 in the video?
To scribe a line centered to the runners so I could put the screws in the decking boards straight and also make sure I didn’t miss the runner when securing the decking board to it
Great video! I can’t find those bendable galvanized hangers…do you have a name or item number for them? Thanks
Thanks. They’re called stringer connectors. I got them at Lowe’s. 2-Steps Steel Outdoor Stair Stringer www.lowes.com/pd/Simpson-Strong-Tie-2-Steps-Steel-Outdoor-Stair-Stringer/5013278905
@@theguyofalltrades Found ‘em…Thanks. Love the video!
@@JeffersonJohnson-ko6ty Thanks!
Did you use ground contact pressure treated for the stringers? I used PT for a small deck on top of gravel and 5 years later it was rotted
Yessir
@@theguyofalltrades Thanks, That's what will use on the ramp I am building.
You can also get that copper infused sealant for PT boards for any of the cuts you make. I see people use it on decks. I think it’s called copper coat
I wiil check that out thanks
Welcome. Good luck with your build!
Can you please tell me how wide your ramp is (width of opening)? Thanks for this great video. Very helpful.
6 feet
Each side wall is 2 feet so I made the ramp the width of the opening. Thanks for watching
Where did you get the metal strip from
Pretty sure it was Lowe’s but Home Depot has them too.
Until it snows
What's that mean. This has been up for almost two years in multiple feet of snow with no issue whatsoever
