Alexi Laiho 2nd year tribute (10 most popular Bodom songs/1 from each album)

2 years. Damn, somehow doesn’t feel as long but still hurts. I can say doing last years tribute gave me enough courage to try doing more Bodom. Miss you everyday Alexi :(
I thought this would be a fitting tribute, take a piece from each of their most famous songs and put em together (you know, like usual). I hope you guys enjoy.

Recording used: IPhone 11 edited through iMovie then splice

Fantastic tribute. I need to go back and listen to Tokyo Warhearts again, I forgot how good that live version of Lake Bodom was.

There’s a couple of tracks that I find are the definitive versions, Lake Bodom, SN,BN, TLAOD and Towards Dead End probably being the best examples. Funny to think how after doing the first year tribute, it would make me push myself in my playing. Was interesting doing the Drop B songs in B standard (that’s why they were more rhythm based)

@@metalftw9652 my favorites would have to be TLAOD (the intro taken from the film The Rock just makes it epic), Downfall (Stockholm version, love the riff jam at the beginning), and the Bodom After Midnight/Bodom Beach Terror mashup

Haha…but no surprisingly I live in England. Heating is just really good in my household. Plus I get hot playing guitar pretty quickly
