    What lovely day to do farm work . So sorry about you losing one of your chickens . You replanted your Christmas trees outside and David plowing a field . It brought back memories when my husband was plowing our fields and I would ride on the tracker with him or i would watch him on the back porch drinking my coffee. Those were the good old days when I live on my farm with my husband. There was work everyday and night on our farm ,but I love every minute of it because we were making us a home there . There was always something to do on our farm even in the winter. Till I see you both on the next video God bless you both and your beautiful animals. Love seeing all of your beautiful animals out playing together or with you two .

    In my home state of Minnesota, there’s a legend of a giant logger named Paul Bunyan, and his companion Babe the Blue Ox. I think your tractor should be called the Blue Ox!

    I’m fascinated by the developments on your farm and the work you do
    I’d love to see all from the air again with you pointing out what’s what

    Sorry to hear about you loosing another chicken. You two seam to have bad luck with chickens. Looks like that tractor goes good digging and losing up the dirt. The Christmas tree got really big so it was good to get it out into the yard. where did you put it by the other evergreen trees or some where in the little park. Then poor Evie getting so high in the tree that was scary watching here coming down. The stork's nest looks comfy with the hay that he's collected.

    Please tickle the roots when planting something that has been in a pot a long time. Loosen up the outer and underside roots. It helps them reach out in thesoil and grab hold. On some plants, it's suggested sometimes to cut off about an inch of the plant root ball.

    Very farmy episode! Thanks. Sorry about the chicken loss. It always hurts to lose one, especially to violence. But, that’s one reason they call them animals, I reckon. Love seeing the growing kids and lambs able to enjoy being outdoors. Fun to see Desi mechanicing on the tractor to attach the bale fork! All kinds of skillz, lady!

    The thing with your injured chicken is that her wound is where the rooster will tread on her while mating. You might want to invest in a chicken apron/saddle to protect the area from further injury and to let it heal.

    Hi Dessy and David. You live and learn in farming. Sorry you lost a hen, hopefully your rooster has been busy and later you will have chick's. Goslings too. The soil looks amazing, love the blossom. You have a tawny owl 🦉 will take care of any vermin. Stork is sitting nicely,hopefully on some eggs. Cats climb, so glad she remembered the way down. Your lovely Christmas 🎄 has a new home, it will grow well in the soil. You'll need a bigger pot for this Xmas, if you plan to bring it in. I would decorate it with some solar lights. Stay safe,thanks for sharing.

    A friend's Dad collected old farm stuff.He had a digger almost like it . On the very back he would put some wgt on the back part. aka Hay Bales .I do not think yours would work lol !These were small reg.bales.But the digger thing itself he would plow the garden until all of the machinery went underground.And maybe get some of the lower part of that poopy hay pile on the garden maybe. You two are so amazing and Talented,Oh ya maybe look up Companion Planting .To plant together and are ok each other ..More yield maybe ?

  • @richardjones5255
    @richardjones5255 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sorry about the chicken, nature can be a hard task master, hopefully they can now resume normal life, perhaps kept apart from the geese, who are powerful, masters-of-all-they-survey types of birds. Come to that, they appear to try to boss you two about, so a chicken or two would be easy pickings for them. It did look as though the tractor found things a bit tough going at times, perhaps with further work the ground will be more welcoming to your plans. It is certainly easier than digging by hand. So a good day's work on a wonderful day to do great things in the outdoors. It was certainly time to get the Christmas tree back outside, it looked a bit unhappy in parts, hopefully it will soon recover and grow a little more.

    Geez the poor chickens are having a bad run first the predatory bird then the marmoset gets in the chook house and now the Geese are killing them too. Since hens lay eggs that I can eat and I wouldn’t give house room to a farm animal that wasn’t paying its way those poopoos would be my next roast dinner.
