They look "heroic" scale like the miniatures. I got a couple and was really disappointed with the articulation and look next to other 1:18 figures. The paint apps are good at the price point, but the joint are so bad.
I think the 40k version of Abbadon would have made a better action figure than the 30k version - the extra 10,000 years of evil deeds and exposure to the warp making all the difference. Looking forward to Horus - possibly Joytoy's most detailed Warhammer figure yet.
I have to disagree with you, 40k design is too busy and has too many things that will limit articulation range. It will be better looking on display, but 30k version is much better for action figure.
I’m glad these figures are being made for the people that enjoy them but they kinda look silly in a way 😂 not enough grim dark . Thanks as always for the vid !
what really bothers me recently with joytoy is that they start to make gigantic heads on those terminator armors, its redicilous. they are so incredible oversized, its triple the size of the normal heads. reason is that they designed the terminator body way to big and out of scale so the head follows.
The terminator body is properly sized now for Primaris Marines and thus is scaled correctly too. The only issue I agree with is the proportion of the head(s), they are correct in terms of body to head ratio, but not if you account the body inside the armor which is what they should be sizing it off of.
They gave us Abbadon they need to give us loken or torgaddon cause I want to re-create the battle of istvaan 3.
Nice
They really should have given him another head option.
It would've been nice

@sand5282 good point
40k design looks like shit lol, like the other guy said, too busy. 30K Baddy is the GOAT.
I disagree me personally the 40k design looks more sinister and threatening

I actually love the aesthetic of Heresy. The armor feels more primitive with all of the flat plates and barely any signs of true chaotic corruption.
Has Horus been released?
Not yet
Should be around August-September
Really need a normal face
😂😂 his face look like he’s yelling. I’m gonna cut you!!!😅
You're not wrong!
Honestly I feel that he could have been just a bit bigger. He’s supposed to be significantly larger than the rest of his brothers.
He is bigger, .... But could be bigger
Excellent video and review. 9:55

They are scaling the head to the armor, not to the body inside

Excellent
