So this is one of those "you can actually blame Games Workshop" scenarios, for why particular HQ or named character figures in JoyToy's Horus Heresy line have these extra levels of detail with sculpted battle damage (or in Abaddon's case, battle damage + Cthonian gang markings), and that's because Games Workshop... sculpted those on the source miniatures, and generally (there are particular exceptions) don't do that with the 40K equivalents; apparently the terms of JoyToy's license are that they're only given a small degree of leeway to tweak proportions and whatnot when adapting the source - that has to directly correspond to a specific miniature or derive from "official bits" in what would then essentially be a "kitbash" - and as such can't add in details like scrapes and dings that aren't on the original.
So much detail and nice coloring. Awesome figure, really neat! Thanks brother Sprues for this HH review! Hope to see more characters in the future, and also the apothecary biologis. Thanks!!
I received mine yesterday ... sadly the plastic pin for the connection between the lower and upper body part of the figure was broken off... and the tubes for the power claw where loose.
I really hope you end up getting and reviewing the new thousand sons
Ohh, I'm sure he will. Thier pretty fly for a white guy

The icon is Eye of Horus (formerly Eye of Terra). Note the larger scrapes on the armor are actually Cthonian gang marks.
