I am currently in college about to be in a nursing school and I would like to join the Air Force afterwards. How would this work? Would I be able to join the Air Force before obtaining my nursing degree and get my degree while enlisted? Also, would ROTC be beneficial for me?

Joe, To be eligible to apply for the Allied Health Professions Officer Programs (HPSP) in the U.S. Air Force, you must be a U.S. citizen. Air Force Allied Health HPSP (Public Health, Pharmacy, Optometry, Clinical Psychology, or Physician Assistant) scholarships are for two-, or one-year periods which pays full tuition and all required fees. This includes reimbursement for textbooks, small equipment items and supplies needed for study. You'll also receive a monthly allowance of approximately $2,300,00 for living expenses. im a 220 lb bodybuilder with great cardio will the airforce let me join at my weight at 5 10 if i can pass a tape test?
