- A devastated mom spoke out at the sentencing of her ex-husband, who killed their son after a trip to Disneyland earlier in the year. Ana Estevez was in tears as she addressed a Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday. "My son had an immense heart and loved life. Because of this selfless heinous crime I will forever be deprived of the joys that come along with being a mother," she emotionally stated. The murdered 5-year-old's grieving mom came face to face with her ex in a packed and tense courtroom. #InsideEdition

As a father of 4 boys( alas no daughters) I feel physically sick if one of them stubs a toe.

I have 4 boys- no girls as well and I can’t even spank my kids because that pain and I don’t want to hurt my kids physically, mentally, etc. when they roughhouse and hurt each other I get so upset. Damn, I could be the most evil person in the world to my husband (which I’m not, I love him) and he still would never even consider hurting our boys to get back at me. Exactly. My 4 year old had to get put to sleep for surgery. I started crying the second they told me. It was a basic surgery, only an hour under, but I was literally a puddle day of, and couldn’t speak I was so upset. I was nauseous, shaking, physically sick, just the thought of her in pain. Even before that, I cried when she cried, I can’t help it. I never cried before I had her. I don’t understand how some parents don’t feel their child’s pain or could bring themselves to cause their child’s pain?

I watched this story, that Mom so contagious, poised, well-spoken, even while searching for her missing little boy! She had tried to get full custody, sadly the courts once again failed that precious angel😥
IIf they had done that, it is very likely the ex would have come and killed them both. The guy definitely did not get what he deserved. That said, it is highly unlikely that he will live very long in prison. Inmates hate other inmates that have harmed children.

They say pictures say a 1,000 words, but that's not always true. The pic of him and the boy in the beginning looked like a loving pic. I would have never looked at this pic and thought he would kill his stepson soon after. This is scary and very sad.

I went thru the same thing and lost my 3 yr old son when he shot him close range will I begged for his life. His dad had no conscience. Said he would get 2 months and get out in 2 weeks. Well, he is still in prison 35 yrs later. My heart is still broken and I miss my son every day.
