Vicky Sue Davis White was working as an assistant director of corrections at the detention center in which Casey White was being held. She was set to retire on April 29, 2022, after 17 years as a corrections officer. She won the "Employee of the year" award four times during her 17-year tenure, and was set to win the award for a fifth time for her last year of service. She married Tommy White in 2002. She divorced him in 2006 due to his alcohol and drug abuse. She remained friends with her ex-husband until he died in January 2022, and remained close to both her mother and her ex-mother-in-law until the escape. She had no children. She was 56 years old at the time of her death. The prison escape was between April 29 - May 9, 2022. Behind many criminal offences is a lot of sadness and tragedy. :(
Yep. Friend of mine worked in a prison and the confiscated a paper being passed around on the best way to turn the female guards get them to do favors for inmates
I know ppl who knew her and they all said she was a very kind woman who helped all she met, but she was also a sad/lonely woman and that's how she was easily conned, it's sad that so many women throw her life away because of low self esteem that a player uses against them.
She is not a victim. She was in a high ranking position of authority over him. She made a choice and it’s as a choice that she methodically planned out from how she would purchase supplies (over multiple trips), the selling of her belongings, having a getaway car setup, etc. It’s unfortunate she lost her life (one that she also took on her own) but she is not a victim.
It’s a really sad and heartbreaking story. With not such a happy ending a lot of people looked up to her, and she chose to be with this guy ultimately drove her down the path of end.
It really irritates me when they use the word love in a situation like this. This woman clearly gave up on life for whatever reason and he used her to get out. He didnt manipulate her, she let him in. No love involved, 2 broken ppl. The end!
She wasn't just a guard! She was the assistant director of operations of the jail. She was the go to person for the guards and staff! Much bigger job than just a guard!
She turned a convicted killer loose with no regards to who he could have harmed but she’s a victim? Loneliness and no self-esteem doesn’t justify what she did.
This happens all across the prisons in the US. Inmates specifically target female staff whether they’re CO’s, counselors etc. I suggest people watch Escape at Dannemora which is a similar story.
She made a poor decision - a decision with life altering consequences. It’s a sad situation but she is not a victim. She was a grown adult who made a very, very pre-meditated choice. Selling your belongings, your house, purchasing camping supplies over a period of multiple trips to avoid suspicion, getting a burner phone - if this was a murder trial there wouldn’t be any doubt it was going to be charged in the first degree. Not only that - she was in a position of authority over him. She is not a victim.
They both used each other, she was an older woman who was lonely and wanted a big strong young man in her life. He wanted his freedom. They both had to offer what the other wanted, he didn’t love her, he used her to get out
All the people saying that he was just using her and was gonna turn on her later on down the road don’t know that. I was in the same situation as him at one point in my life and befriended a correctional officer and I fell in love with her. Just the fact that she was there for me when no one else was and made a connection with me was enough for me and if she hadn’t stopped talking to me after we got caught, we’d still be together today. And, the fact that he didn’t take off on his own the very minute he was on the outside and how he called her his wife as he was being arrested says enough, to me, to let me know it wasn’t fake. People shouldn’t have such strong opinions and run their mouths on situations that they’ve never been in themselves…imo
If he truly loved her, even if it was an average love, he would never have let her destroy her life to let him escape. He is a devil. He already had an intimate relationship with her in prison which should be the most an inmate of his caliber could wish for, but he wasn't satisfied. He wanted to destroy her. Then again, what does he need "freedom" for when he already had the "love of his life with him in the cell.
"Oh no. She's the true victim here. He manipulated her. Boo hoo." Fish Face prison guard was thirsty af and I'm amazed at how some people defend her, just like the Karen Read case.
The ending of this Neflix dox is infuriating. They give this ex con a ton of screentime who pushes the angle that they were truly in love and meant to be together.
I watched this the other night whole story was wild... he definitely manipulated her and she was so lonely she took any attention....1st husband divirced because he was a drug addict and then she was engaged i think but the guy died in a car crash... if I'm not mistaken
I have some questions here to ask in case if anyone would happen to possibly know the answers to them even though this might seem off-topic and all, but I was just wondering anyway: 1. My e-mail account hasn't been hacked or anything, but a while back I noticed that my e-mail account/address has started receiving various spam e-mails and this has been an ongoing problem for me since this has been happening almost every day for the past several months. What exactly causes this to happen? 2. I might have also accidentally responded to a spam e-mail or two from before even though I didn't mean to do so, and it seems like ever since then, my e-mail account has just been receiving even more spam mail that way. What exactly causes that to happen too and why? 3. If you open and/or interact with spam e-mails in any way, how exactly do the scammers themselves know if you responded to their e-mails like that? 4. Is there also some possible way to completely stop the spam mail altogether or not? I've been reporting the e-mails, deleting them, blocking them, and even blocking the e-mail addresses and domains where the e-mails have been coming from, but it seems like no matter what I've been trying to do, nothing seems to be stopping it so far and I sometimes even receive some spam e-mails somehow from certain senders even though I already have their e-mail addresses blocked although they shouldn't be going through to me if I already have them blocked. I just thought of asking these questions though in case if anyone knows the answers to them and I know this is kind of off-topic and all, but this is just something that I've been having to deal with now for quite some time and it's just really aggravating too although I wish it would somehow stop. I just want to know why and how this sort of thing happens, and also if there's a way to possibly stop it somehow.
I have never been surprised by anything people will do to protect their love interest, wife or ex, or anyone else not since the Manson killings back in the late 1960's.
This is like the beginning of the film Raising Arizona except there’s no marriage, there’s no plot to kidnap a baby and this is a much darker story since one of the persons involved is dead.
I fell asleep watching this last night and woke up upset bc I don’t remember where I left off but it’s a really interesting story 😂 it’s quite insane (makes me think there’s a bunch of mental illness running inside those two)
netflix is quickly becoming the hallmark channel with all these based on a true story movies and documentaries and seriously who cares about any of the ppl theyre making them of,the tiger lady, dahmer,oj,menendez bros, now this who cares?
Loneliness is a hell of a drug.

When the US Surgeon General announces that loneliness is at epidemic levels we will have to start printing it on the sides of cigarettes.
She gave up a career, friends, and family for a man who would have double crossed her at some point.
You can't prove that.
Sold her house, lost her life.
wild
It’s tough to say. It’s so hard when you’re in it. You can only speak as an outsider
@@Coolcartinghe was definitely using her 🤡
A prisoner is constantly testing the system for weakness to take advantage, he found it
Yep. Friend of mine worked in a prison and the confiscated a paper being passed around on the best way to turn the female guards get them to do favors for inmates

I watched this last week and I knew about this story before hand ..and this documentary was GOOD !!
He manipulated her to get out & she lost her life for nothing. Very sad!
She shouldn't have done all that! She knew better but chose not to
As messed up as it is she died for love
Lol he manipulated her? She knew the job when she got hired, she's an adult who knew what she was she doing
Strange, bc she got to sleep with him in his cell, but wanted more
It’s a really sad and heartbreaking story. With not such a happy ending a lot of people looked up to her, and she chose to be with this guy ultimately drove her down the path of end.
And ? There will ways be good and evil. I don’t blame her. She fell in love.
I think she thought she would ride off into the sunset with him & they would live happily ever after.
She's not a victim.
I wonder how many criminals she's been sleeping with in jail before this one.
It really irritates me when they use the word love in a situation like this. This woman clearly gave up on life for whatever reason and he used her to get out. He didnt manipulate her, she let him in. No love involved, 2 broken ppl. The end!
What? Really? I hope you never do jury duty 😅
The amount of mental gymnastics to allow woman to avoid accountability is mind blowing
Isn’t this the lady who tried to steal the 🦒 Giraffe 🦒 from the prison? 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
She wasn't just a guard! She was the assistant director of operations of the jail. She was the go to person for the guards and staff! Much bigger job than just a guard!
She turned a convicted killer loose with no regards to who he could have harmed but she’s a victim? Loneliness and no self-esteem doesn’t justify what she did.
I was looking for a comment like this? He was in jail for killing his former gf and her dog! That obviously didn't bother her one bit.
This happens all across the prisons in the US. Inmates specifically target female staff whether they’re CO’s, counselors etc. I suggest people watch Escape at Dannemora which is a similar story.
Awesome limited series on showtime or Amazon.
Escape at Dannemora.
The female staff specifically target the inmates
I think they were both in love and using each other. She knew what she was doing,
that’s actually crazy
Ya watch the documentary! So good!

I remember following this story when it was happening. Crazy.
Great documentary

Hi Ahlam
She needed love desperately 😢💔💔
*Desperation & Delusional*
Why was she so desperate lol
6'9"?? Damn
Fr he should be in the nba
I watched this over the weekend. SMH poor woman was super lonely 😔.
It was touching how people who knew Vicki had only nice things to say about her prior to doing this.
I'm sure that the family of the woman Casey murdered feel really "touched" right now... you absolute 🤡
All the people saying that he was just using her and was gonna turn on her later on down the road don’t know that. Seen it. Really good movie. You'll be sad or mad about the ending. However, I think he loved her.
The ending of this Neflix dox is infuriating. They give this ex con a ton of screentime who pushes the angle that they were truly in love and meant to be together.
It’s like Harley x Joker
I know that's right...😟
I watched this the other night whole story was wild... he definitely manipulated her and she was so lonely she took any attention....1st husband divirced because he was a drug addict and then she was engaged i think but the guy died in a car crash... if I'm not mistaken
They should make a movie on this not just a documentary
This woman was insane to be mixed up with a criminal that is basically sentenced to life in prison. She must’ve been really desperate for attention.
I think I remember this lady being aired on unsolved mysteries. 🤔
She was such a damn fool. I mean how desperate and naïve can you be?!
I remember this story.
Very heartbreaking
Netflix will make a movie out of anything !!
That is very crazy and yes I remember this story as well ❤
She destroyed her whole life..job, family, friends for a murderer...loneliness is a terrible thing..dam..
Well she’s really stupid for what she did and lost her life over it
Well, I guess I have to run to Netflix and watch this documentary now 🙄…. 😅
It's really good, imo.
Unbelievable that she fell in love with an inmate...💔😳😳
More unbelievable that she had sex with him in his cell.
She was definitely insane 😮❤
😢😢😢😢😢😢 sad story
I had no idea Jon Hamm was in prison omg!!!
Bro, I scrolled passed and thought it was john cena in the thumbnail
I remember watching this on the news
Joker and Harley
You ruined the ending
Yep. Title kind of warned you, though. Why watch this first, before the documentary?
Paid promotion?

“Now it’s getting the Netflix treatment” LOL
I have never been surprised by anything people will do to protect their love interest, wife or ex, or anyone else not since the Manson killings back in the late 1960's.
Netflix sucks, and so did that documentary.
It happens more often than you think.
Sadly in this case…Truth can be stranger than fiction…
This story was two years ago
sad ending for her but i guess she's already at peace for doing it
JAILBREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
after hearing the 911 call i do not think vicky took her own life...obviously I wasn't there but it just seems off to me.....
Sad for children snd hubby
She didn’t have any children and she had been married but divorced twice. Watch the show it will give you more insight
ofcourse Netflix would want to do a series about this.
It isn't a series, it's a documentary. It was very well done.
6’9?!?!?!
They definitely did 🫢🫢🫢🫢
No establishment of any relationship. Disciplinary Report and confinement.
Netflix sucks.
They already made the movie on Lifetime. No need for me to watch Netflix
EXCLUSIVE ON THIS VIDEO:
The lives and careers of two actors simon oakland and kenneth tobey!
I remember this story from watching that awful Tubi movie
This is like the beginning of the film Raising Arizona except there’s no marriage, there’s no plot to kidnap a baby and this is a much darker story since one of the persons involved is dead.
This is truly a Joker and Harley Quinn story
I fell asleep watching this last night and woke up upset bc I don’t remember where I left off but it’s a really interesting story 😂 it’s quite insane (makes me think there’s a bunch of mental illness running inside those two)
Thanks for your amazing insight
Started with a kiss
You’re right she was brain washed!! 🤔sad!! She pulled the trash from the trash can! and thought she could reuse it!!!
Who Cares
I think Casey killed vicky at the end of the manhunt
So the truth has been edited for entertainment purposes?
Yes
Just my size!
This is an old case. Why is it so big now?
jeez im suprised
THE TOP QUESTION ON THIS VIDEO:
What was kenneth tobey (actor) the natural nordic blond? 👱🏻♂️
😮😢
Napkinnate
netflix is quickly becoming the hallmark channel with all these based on a true story movies and documentaries and seriously who cares about any of the ppl theyre making them of,the tiger lady, dahmer,oj,menendez bros, now this who cares?
Lifetime and tubi already did this.
They did the freak ma nasty in the jail 🤢
This reminds me of The Joker and Harley Quinn
😂 1:02 Mm-hmm 😂
Good lord. Loneliness is a bish
This documentary is video proof of why women have no business working in jails, or at least being allowed to have contact with the inmates.
Netflix making idiots infamous sincere 2014 but then blame other things...... stop doing "documentary" shows
Dam Bro You Could've Made it to 🏈🏀🏆. 🤔
Well, we can write each other. Love letters from different prisons.😂😂
Hello
I heard about this on a show called I (almost) got away with it
2 for 1. ya gotta love it.
The downfall of Aaron Rodgers is real.
Omg can we stop glorying these killers? Not a single one of them needs a movie or TV series
