Black Flag is my favorite pirate game of all time. The transition between Jackdaw and Edward is so seamless and you truly feel like you're controlling the captain of the ship and not the ship itself. And that goes for everything, you can jump off the ship at any point, not just when you're boarding ships and docking into a port. And all the other activities are cool as well, like robbing a warehouse. They dropped the ball hard with Skull and Bones Also, it doesn't hurt that this game is the one that got me hooked on gaming the first time I watched it back when it came out. I replay it at least once a year
I have the same problem with the game. But maybe we should play games more for the gameplay itself and not for some artficial rewards inside of it that make us feel better
You're gonna get a subscription from me. Not only is the video quality, but you don't use AI voiceover. As an aspiring voice actor myself I gotta say cheers for that one 🥂
Mount and Blade pirate mod is worth a mention. Really all the original Mount and blade mods are games in their own right I’m not sure Bannerlord can ever get there but here’s hoping. I can’t wait for the black flag remake. For how popular pirates are why isn’t there more games?
I think the PC Pirates of the Carribbean game from Bethesda should get a mention, it was essentially a sea dogs reskin but I poured hours into that game and it's certainly in my top 10 favourite games
Seaward pirates is a reupload of a game from 2004 which was the next step for a franchise of games about pirates and sea dogs is a pre-ancestor to it. I think you can’t play sea dogs on modern platforms without emulation but you can play seaward pirates
To even feel more like a true pirate, I decided to pirate all these games mentioned 👍 jk This is good informative video. I sub! I played half of these already and can tell they are all worth while

I don't like Sea Of Thieves because the only point of treasure is to get more cosmetics. I was told there are no weapons or armor the you can unlock.

What about Atlas?
For me its Sid Meyers Pirates! Sadly the game is a bid to childish if it comes to presentation, in this regards i liked the old pirate games more.
