One hint a dog trainer gave me: If you do those self control tricks/exercise don't let him have the one you layed down, but pick it up and reward it with petting him instead. The dog will learn even better to not touch everything he sees and will understand the different between stuff you give him to eat and stuff he shouldn't touch. PS: Respect for such a trained dog after just a couple of weeks

Demeaning? So you think that the commands "sit", "rollover", and "weave" are demeaning? You most likely have some serious deep seeded issues if that's the case. But yes....you "owned" me dude....shit how will I ever deal with this embarrassment. Perhaps I will just snuggle on the couch with my beautiful Vizsla who couldn't be happier every time I walk into the room.
I have to agree completely. To me this is not 'training' your dog. He just has to do your stupid useless shit to get his cookie, he's not actually LEARNING anything. I guess some people just don't have anything better to do in their lives.

13 WEEKS! WOW, awesome, how clever and smart vizslas are even when there are so young... Will be a great companion for life! :)
