Mr. Mashabela please consider having Mama Letta Mbulu on your podcast. She is turning 80 years in September and she has had a very lengthy career. There is a lot we could learn from her. Please consider this.

Ntate Sejake you are my hero. Funny how South Africans, most of whom were facing Hipos and Caspers in the 80s, suddenly believe that they were liberated by people who were in Lusaka. History is written by winners. I'm born and bred in Soweto but have always known Daveyton (D - Town) to be the Mecca of the performing Arts. People like bo bra Small Ndaba, Johnny Mekoa, Ray Phiri, Seipati Sothoane and even most of the "Jim comes to Joburgs" first landed in Daveyton. Salut!

  • @mayumimolotv8523

You can see this man in in performing arts for the love of it. The way he still remembers lines like he was given a script just before this interview. These were true performers. I hated his role on Masakeng because us as the audience we always vouch for the good guy and not the bad guy. He nailed that role so well you'd think what you were watching was real. He's always nailing all roles he plays. I always know a show he is going to be fire when he's in it irrespective of the role he's given. He embodies art. Such talent is rare nowadays. This interview was not only entertaining but quite educational too.

Ke ngwana wa Wattville Benoni, and i only discovered the history of Etwatwa (fully) about 2 months ago. He's right, it was a very interesting place because it sounds like race, age, class etc didn't matter there. It's quite interesting because I know a lot about Indians, their different religions and cultures due to the fact that Actonville & Wattville are basically 1 huge township split by a rail road
That said, i looooove Ntate Owen. He's just as animated as i know him to be. He is always generous in spirit and shares jokes, a smile, stories etc easily. I guess it must run in his family too, because i remember that his brother Ntate Buti was just as nice and a great friend to my a lot of my family members. I truly respect him
