Everyone, video and pictures doesn't capture the magnitude of this place. You truly have to go see it to appreciate it!

It was amazingly blue. Can't wait to get the boys up there and do an overnight.

Nice shots of the waterfalls! I have never been to Chapel Rocks, I will have to hike there soon..after black fly season.

First off... Great videos. My wife and I have been traveling the UP for over 30 years. The "Black Flys" Are actually called "Stable Flys". Black flys are small like a natt and are only around in the spring time. Learned tht at a National Forest field office. We were at Porcupine Mountains and the flys were so bad we had to live in our screen room. There is a hike on the beach in PRNLS from Huricane River to Sable Point Light house that has Ship wrecks on the beach. You could spend a month in PRNLS and not see it all! Even though we RV these days we stay in National forest and state forest campgrounds and are not afraid to take our 5th wheel to dispersed camping. Keep the videos coming!

Thanks for the clarification. That explains the small ones on my Big Stone Cabin video! They were everywhere on the ground. I would love to get to eh Porcupine area soon. That is a heck of a drive for me!

@@cjoutdooradventures4896 We are in the metro Detroit area and yes, it is a drive. We usually take 2 days to get there but you need at least 2 weeks to see the most of the area. We stay on the west side at Presque Ilse Campgroung, Rustic. There waterfalls, 4 of them in walking distance from your campsite! you can walk down on the rocky river bed etc. The kids will love it!

Awesome 👍 glad you had a good time. If you are looking for another Michigander to get out with let me know, I also want to get my boys(aged 6 and 9) outside and into backpacking. Keep up the adventures!

I am going to start some backpacking in the spring with them. Car camping and rustic cabins until then. :)
