Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy! To continue the trend of quarantine content, I put together my top 10 (+1) favorite launches. Drop a comment if you would like to see more top 10 style videos in the future. Hopefully, we will be back up in the air soon!
I love the gas pipeline launch. In central PA we have so many long ridges but nowhere to launch, I've always fantasized about doing a sled ride off of one sometime, and those pipelines are some of the only sites that look decent enough to launch from on a low wind day.
Just found your channel now! Awesome vids dude! Love it!
Great content Tucker. I remember 99% of these. Started following you when you were trying to get to 5000 subscribers and we're going to do something crazy like fly your underwear. 😉
Good memories during these crazy quarantine days!
Thanks for helping keep it bearable. 😎
Hello from the San Tan Valley ,Queen Creek area!
More top ten's please
"Some random guy with a fan on his back" gave me a good laugh.
Same 🤣
to a layman though that's exactly what it looks like lol
It’d be so cool to have been there
LMAO🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
The best one so far is when he was mimicking an old farmer after flying around in a field and said "Martha, that fan man is at it again in the field!" I was crying 😂
Tucker, I’m an old ultralight pilot from the early days (30 years ago). Your videos bring back memories. Let me share with you some “tricks” that we learned to stay warm. We found that some of the cold weather bicycling attire worked well with cold weather flying. Some of the cycling pants that are available use a Mylar layer in the front to keep the wind from penetrating, and since the clothing is designed for athletics, running wasn’t compromised (-Layers of clothing made that a problem). -Same with some of the cycling jackets. Plenty of pockets to store stuff, and “weatherproof” material restricted the wind. -Of course long-finger cycling gloves allowed protection, but retained finger sensitivity. -Just something to check out and consider.
You probably know John Moody, I share a hangar with him with my J3 Cub and his Easy Riser.
Nice
I ride motorcycles . Under my clothes I wear “feeze out” thermal protection. Extremely light weight and completely blocks wind up to 50-60 mph. Go look at a motorcycle shop. And idk if they will be to thick but you could get battery operated heated gloves. The heating part is only on the back side of your hand not on the inside. You are making me think about getting in to this. Looks like a good time.
@@Ontharock you ain't kidding. That cycle gears freeze out (now warm-r) is great stuff
Spent 30+ years riding motorcycles. Diagnosed with MS 10 years ago, gave up riding a few years back. I miss the adventures SO BADLY. I miss the enthusiasts (like you and Tucker - all the "old" guys and all the "young" guys!). I miss seeing things in ways others haven't. I'm thankful for Tucker's videos. I'm thankful for Tucker's sense of adventure. I'm thankful for life and our ways to see and experience it. I wanna a paramotor. Sure wish my meds weren't over $150k per year.... "If wishes and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas". Please don't stop, Tucker. I'll live through you until I have a "fan" to strap on my back. :)
Your tandem flight with your mom had me smiling, Tucker. “Precious cargo.”
✌️❤️
Amen ! Moms are precious !
Yeah. That was fun to watch. Especially liked the tandem mom one. Something y’all will never forget. AWSOME.
Lol. Tucker: *NYOOOOM*
Me at 8 years old: "Mama look its super man with a ceiling fan!!!"
Plague Tipku lmfao NYYYOOOOM
No
“Super man with a ceiling fan”
Damn I like that
@@Openwound408 yes.
All the take off were enjoyable especially loved the one with mother 👏👏
Doing that with your mom........that was absolutely awesome of you to do. Way to go man
I totally feel you on those launches where you are SO happy to finally get into the air. Nothing worse than having a few failed launches and feeling so drained you're not sure you're even gonna make it up.
Or waiting for a good launch cycle for an hour
New logo, who dis?
I would like to know the following:
1. How long have you been flying?
2. Have you ever had a collapse to the ground and how many?
3. Has Paramotoring ever sent you to the ER and for what?
4. Why is it that Paramotor reserves don't use a drogue for rapid deployment like with base jumping?
yes
@@hh5302 ooh yeah same
*”Some random guy with a fan on his back”*
I think you can change your name now
You can change your name now
DEF NOW
Just imagine driving to the store and then being stopped because some guy with a large fan is running right at you
Some *random* guy
and then he just floats off into the air like no big deal, and you're sitting there looking ahead like "what did i just watch"
I love that you did a tandem with your Mom.
The joy, excitement, and pride in your voice when you said “YOU DID IT” to your mom made me kinda emotional for a sec
Do you mind if this Dad of two young kids with no free time lives vicariously through your videos Haha? Love your channel Tucker always nice to chill and unwind with some relaxing Paramotor vids.
Believe it or not I found your channel two years ago when I got my first Drone. Turns out TH-cam thinks if you’re interested in drones you’d also like paramotors, their recommendations have been on point so far lol.
don't just watch his vids try it
Hahahahaha
The moment I read "My top 10 launches" I thought of that exact launch from the Icarus race. I had just subscribed a few weeks before, and followed the Icarus series of videos day by day, super stoked for each day's upload. I was never disappointed.
the video with your mom is my all time favorite
Quarantined and still making killer material! Keep it up, dude!
The " Launch Abort N Dive ". on the intro is a complete DOPE !
Tucker Send It !
Definitely want to see top 10 landings!
Then top 10 Jaclyn moments.
I'm old (68), and want to fly like a bird like you. One year ago a neurosurgeon put a rack of Titanium rods, and over 20 screws in my back so I can stand up straight. Watching you and others online is so tempting. I've seen you take some tumbles, but nothing major that hurt you. I'm going to keep on researching Parasailing---definitely not Paragliding---too risky, but I want to fly, and not interested in flying an airplane, so keep up the great videos---they are inspiring!
Tucker, the launch with your mother actually brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing them all and stay safe!
Not only have you motivated me to want to learn THIS sport, but you are just a good dude, Travis. The new generation is a lot of... yer just a good guy. God bless, and I’m super glad that You’ve been blessed with this TH-cam one million subs- it’s good to finally see a good person be rewarded.
Really shared your joy with all the launches. Gave me eleven big smiles this evening. Thanks.
CLICKBAIT!!! I CAME FOR 10 AND GOT MORE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW!?!? 🤣😂🤣😂👍
UNSUBBED AND REPORTED TO THE FAA!!! 😂
😂🤣 Yeah really! No way bro! Love your stuff! Everyone at work now says "Risky biscuits"! Lol
Lagniappe
@@TuckerGott what is a cheep glider cuz I wanna get one
Tucker Gott Well *FAA* AAAAAAAACK
Tucker - I have watched all of your videos and they bring me such joy. Thank you for sharing your airborne adventures with those of us who could not do what you do but get to ride along on TH-cam. The launch with your mom was epic - congrats to both of you for making that work! Loved the top 10 - thanks for giving us some hang time during the quarantine.
You ever going to do a race like Icarus again? I remember when I first saw those posted and I thought, "40+ minutes? I am not watching a video that long." 40 + minutes later I'm like, "It's over already?" Those were really cool videos.
A paramotor sounds absolutely awesome no risk, TRAVEL!!!, Exploration!
Didn't a famous dude die in a paramotor accident? Still, it sounds awesome to try
I’m not into flying, or paramotors, but your very entertaining and I find myself clicking on any of your videos when I see them! Keep it up, your doing a great job!
Watched this many times now - always inspiring - always fun! Absolute hats off to Mum!
11:00
Computer: how many tabs would you like to open
Tucker: yes
Wow, that was so cool tandem take off with your Mom!!!
I've been taking it easy on the paramotor content recently but seeing these was some serious channel nostalgia. I was here watching for almost all of these. This was an amazing look back
Bro, the launch with your mom made me emotional haha! So nice!
Bro every time you take off it puts a smile on my face I feel the sense of accomplishment. Great job, I hope you never get hurt doing what you love! Couple of scratches and bruises nothing to worry about. Be safe and have a great time flying.
Loved the clip of you and your Mother. Must have been a very special day for both of you, Tucker.
73.2 hours into watching all Tucker's content. Best phrase i've heard from him so far is, "she's precious cargo to me". Damn right! GO MOM!!
13:09
Laughed pretty hard when he tripped over your line lol
Thanks for the content Tucker.. got my shirt yesterday.. blue print version. Love it. Thanks and stay safe.
Tucker we need you to stay safe bro we can’t lose you man love your videos shout out from Brooklyn I probably saw you flying I see people flying around in New Jersey
I’m not into paramotoring (frankly scares the s&$t out of me), but I came across your videos during this pandemic and I’ve really enjoyed them. You have such a calm, positive energy that you’re super easy to watch. I’ve passed several hours so far over the last few days watching your adventures. Keep up the great work!
Tucker! We’re both members of the Jackpot NV paramotor club! I took off/landed on BLM designated land right at the south edge of the airstrip... I slept in my travel trailer in the school parking lot... my motor froze overnight... but thankfully I thought to cover the air box/carb...
I’m way bigger than you... so every time I launch it’s like I have all of your gear. 🤣😂
Yes! Do the landing video! That last launch was masterful, Tucker. I remember that. I followed the whole Icarus series and was stoked that you won. I kinda knew you would. I dont know really what Im talking about but you seem the be a cut above other pilots for the most part. Mark Huneycut is good too but you just seem to be more conscientious than most, humble, and detail oriented than most. Thank you for the content
I've watched so many of your videos and with each one, I want to fly in a paramotor even more but it has never been done in Nigeria. Can't begin to reason out the cost of importing one. I hear you talk about the cost of the wings and motor... The dream to fly keeps getting kindled. Your escapades are pure entertainment.
Thanks, Tucker! Great content for going through quarantine. Your launch with mom put a huge smile on my face! :) Would love to see your top 10 landings, too!
Love the videos. Makes me sit on the couch had a coffee and 2 beers. Keep up the great efforts on saving us.
Great video Tucker, thanks for all your time putting this together, 🤙🤙🤣😛
I watched your Icarus race series a couple years back just after you posted them and before I started flying paramotor myself. Your infectious joy after those launches is one of the reasons many people have started into this activity. Heck I just thought they were regular launches and you were just having that much fun.
Looking at those launches now that I've done a couple dozen (30) myself gives me an entirely new perspective on them. Wow! On that last one the cross wind would have also made that lane way directly lee of those trees and that would have been horrid.
btw - I feel for you not being able to fly under the lockdown. Luckily my situation is such that I can get out to the park and launch without risking infection or infecting. I'm also flying very cautiously.
I still think the McDonald's launch deserves an honorable mention here just because it's so famous.
This shows many aspects of the risk taking procedure at launches. Our most satisfying launches are not always the most reasonable sadly 😁. Retrospectively they also bring a lot of experience.
Also for the Icarus, being exhausted makes you take more risks, and in parallel you need to balance it by thinking that sparing your energy on the moment will save you from making more poor decisions later on.
Thanks for the videos, and also for the great langage quality. As many non native English speakers, this is highly appreciated. You are perfectly understandable. I think your videos are even an English learning tool somehow...
So much fun! Thanks for the video. 😊
Tucker,
Thank you I enjoy you paramotor vlogs.
Best David
Hey Tucker, greetings from Western Australia. Love your work Mate, just keep doing what your doing and don't worry about the haters. Chris Martin said it beautifully " not everyone likes what I do but it doesn't matter because I love what I do"
In response to your last video I would love to see you talk us through a top 10 landings video. Landings are a real highlight, well for me anyway.
Take care Mate and keep up the good work!
Thanks for the video/videos! I have dreamed of flying for a long time and ended up getting my PPL in 2015 then stopped flying because of expense. I am planning on getting a PPG because it is less expensive than renting or owning a plane. Also I want to be able to land and takeoff from remote locations. I love your videos because they give me the opportunity to enjoy the sport while working on finding a rig. You are a true honor to have in the sport. Thanks for living the dream and keeping it alive. Look forward to joining you in the sky. -E
Enjoyed the video. I was at that air show in Evansville. Live 35 miles south of there. The mom launch was special. 👍
I'm not a paramotor guy but i really enjoy watching your videos, especially the icarus ones . Im 48 years old maybe too old to try this as a new hobby
Hey dude! Been here since 200k subscribers. I knew back then you were gonna blow up. Glad to see your channel growing so much!
its actually nice to see you struggle a bit..you make it look so easy all the time and I really don't think it is...love your videos, peace
Wow,,, so strange to see a few of these spots. Your launch at the Superstition mnts,,, I've spent a lot of time there. That same spot!!!
The launch in Evensville, I spent hours on that ramp when we races the unlimited hydroplanes on the Ohio, (Miss Bud team).
Remember watching the others when you put them out.
Proud of your mom. Reason I haven't pulled the trigger on getting in this sport, is I now have both hip replacements and both knees replaced, don't think I could run with one of those on my back. Other than that guy from Ohio, haven't seen much on trikes..
No one down here in Houston to talk with...
Good luck, thanks for the videos.
I love this level of transparency.
Please do more it you have it!
Flying with your mom had to be an incredible day that you will never forget!
Tucker, thanks so much for a great video. You see, I live vicariously through your You Tube videos. I’d surely love to try my hand at Paramotors but sadly I’m out of luck. I’m in my mid 70’s and 100% disabled which really throws a wrench in things. Before my weird neurological condition left me unable to walk, I rode/raced dirt bikes, surfed from New Jersey to Florida to Baja and the South China Sea, and generally had a grand life. Paramotoring would have been a likely progression for me had life been more forgiving. At any rate, thank you again for giving me the enjoyment of watching you do something I can only muse about.
You can ALWAYS try a trike
DUDE THAT WAS GREAT! That last launch was amazing. I think you must have a Angel flying with you!
I noticed you mentioned how difficult it was flying with thick gloves during the ski and ice skate flights, and that you needed the gloves initially so you wouldn't lose the feeling in your fingers.
I'm not sure if you already know this but a lot of motorcyclist will wear latex/nitrile gloves underneath a lower profile riding glove so they can still have better motor functions in their fingers but also keep their hands warm despite not being made of bulky and heavy duty materials. The latex/nitrile gloves won't allow the wind to penetrate to your skin. I've heard it works wonders on a cold highway moving at 90+mph so I'd imagine the practice would carry into the skies as well!
Never in my wildest imagination did I think I’d want to get into this sport. My wife (filipino) and I are moving to the Philippines. We’ll be living in a very remote part of a province. Roads are very few and far between. The paramotor will be a God send for meeting out transportation needs. Keep up with the “how to” videos.
Good luck with that, There are almost no places that you can launch from, Too many trees, houses no flat grass padocks just rice fields, Roads full of traffic, etc etc Watch out for snakes too when walking around long grass bloody dangerous.
Hi Tucker! Been binge-watching your videos lately. I'm too much of a chicken to get into the air, but living vicariously through you is amazing. Keep up the good work
That you can make a video of your top 10 launches is a true testament to your skill and experience. Be Safe Be Tucker. (Yes, a T Shirt). Coined Here, today. 🙂
I don’t fly but love your videos. You are truly blessed. You have a cool GF. Mom and dad. Good for you man!!!! Live well and be safe 👍👍👍
your mom is so proud of you id say you really don't know how good of a son you are!
Great line up Taking your mom up was awesome! The last Hotel launch was CRAZY hehehehe
Hey tucker liked ur mom tandem video u pulled it off nicely man ..keep up the good work buddy..all the very best for ur future flights...fly safe brother..indeed a very precious cargo
Thank you Gott, all good here was the most nice time watching video that brings us lots of entertainment in only one video, action, drama, love fiction everything! thank you and stay safe!
Wow just wow! Yes we definitely need a 'best landings' episode!!
Loved the intro. Even you fall from time to time. Thank you!
Great clip with you and your "precious cargo" ... Mom !!!! Well done buddy. 👍🏼
Love watching your videos very informative, and therapeutic like I'm up there flying with you best wishes from across the pond 👍
Great video Tucker! From the way you described your tandem ride with your mother it made it sound like you were taking a bigger chance than it looked when you first showed that video. I wonder why you took that chance when you could’ve waited for a better time or a better day and yet risked hurting your mom and her knees! Thanks
Love that you did the video. You always make it look so easy. Im getting into the sport because of you, I'm sure ill have my bad days.
I remember watching most of these at the time they were posted... Great to see them again... :)
Never heard of a paramotor before watching your videos. I am afraid of heights and not a fan of flying. But you have given me a huge interest in flying one and want to overcome my fear of heights to achieve it one day!
Such fun to watch! Thank you!
God bless your mom, she ran like a gold medalist.
Yoooooo!!!!! I think I was there that day at Oshkosh! I think I remember your show. It was awesome!!!!!!!!!
How cool that you were able to take your mom up in a tandem flight! Every kids dream
I just fell into your channel. I wish I had the courage to commute like this. The emergency street landing was awesome.
This was amazing I always had dreams of flying and this is just soooo cool! Your channel really was so interesting today I’m glad I found this to watch. I loved the part with your mom she’s so cute running hard 💕
That last launch by the Casino was my favorite hands down, totally insane. I've done some insane things, but that one was really special and its on video.
Liked the compilation. This quarantine content is good and by far better then nothing.
The hotel launch. Holy ****. Great flying my dude. Glad you made it through those sketchy launches. Haha
I stumbled upon your channel midway thru the Icarus race so I must’ve missed that rough take off! The rest of the race you were pretty slick! Got me binge watching everything paramotor.
The first time I ever saw your videos about a year ago, I was obsessed with it :) Its so cool! I totally want to learn how to fly! I'm in high school right now though, so maybe in a few years :) I wish i could learn now though! Love your channel :)
Thanks for keeping it up during all this. Stay safe.
It's good to show even Tucker can make mistakes! Nice video👍
4:50 that is Az, I ride my dirt bike there sometimes, crf280r 250w big bore
Loved the video. I would like to see more like this. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks for sharing! Top ten format is informative and engaging.
Love the big wall of concrete blocks on the little island. Full commit, there.
Yesss!!! I would love to watch the top 10+ landings next!!! 👍
I found you because of your famous McDonald’s flight, glad I did because you’re amazing. That Superstition Mountain range provide cool views
I remembered this one, it stuck with me, a pretty ballzy take off at Jackpot on your Icarus adventure, glad you included it here
Awesome compilation! I'm glad you survived Jackpot, NV and the casino secondhand smoke!
