  • Hi, This is my modified servo was used for 1/32 Bluetooth RC car. (Search for them on my channel). Today, I show you how it make. Basically, this's a SG90 Servo and is modified to run continuous then I keep do so modification to make it than at ~ x13.1 faster.
Watch my video to know exactly what I have done and what materials was used for this project.
    Thank for watching,
    The H Lab.

Metal gears would make a nice crawler gearbox

You have increased speed but reduced torque ... But implementation is nice...

What is that silver thing that you put in the pen piece?

Silver? Are you talking about the bearing? that is a 3x8x4 bearing.

Dude you basically just got rid of the potentiometer and the controller, what you have is just the DC motor and you change the rotational speed with PWM, but DC motors are MUCH cheaper. Why would you buy a servo to turn it into a DC ???

This is for 2-direction. DC more is cheap but 2-direction brushed ESC cost more than 3$ while this Servo cost only 1$ :)

This can be used as a gearbox for micro rc crawler. Looks like a yoke on it now for a drive shaft. This is a creative way to make a transmission.

Couldn’t you just glue the original gear to the stem of the top gear and it would work just the same without using the pen part

Yes. I added that part to fit with the bearing.
