I dont have the stones to squeeze the throttle on something that powerful lol. Holy hell man. 2 strokes do have the most pleasing powerband I've ever experienced though. Something about hitting that 5-9k rpm mark that feels unreal.

By the strictest standards a Banshee is no longer a Banshee when you put different tires or pipes on it. But we all still call it a Banshee. I think this is a cool machine.

@@Spac3Monkey - Hmm. Still fast. Every improvement shows up in the times. I gained some speed on my road bicycle with a couple of aero tweeks in my riding position. Tucking in elbows, flatter back, etc...
For top speed aero would help, but not for this. The bodywork would be mounted up front, increasing the weight of the vehicle without putting any extra weight on the rear tires - so you would have the same amount of grip but have to move more weight, giving you a slower launch.
That’s not even taking into account the fact that hot drag tires have a coefficient of friction greater than 1.0, so light weight is even more beneficial. The adhesive ness of the tires is constant regardless of vehicle weight, so increasing vehicle weight decreases the percentage of grip gained by the adhesiveness of the tires.
@@TheWallsocket - Pardon my ignorance but, why then does that not translate to say, top fuel funny car... wich uses bodywork? Is it just the shear velocity top fuel cars accelerate with? The smaller vehicle just not producing enough juice to merit the squeeze??

Its the body,upgraded exhaust,upgraded carburetor,upgraded throttle cables, and a higher grade gas and two stroke oil
I know. Ive been researching for months too. Everybody's real qiut about this too.
611cc cheetah dm cylinder jugs, extremely aggressive porting and modifications to the crank case to allow the increased stroke length. Different connecting rods, different pistons, different crank, no clue what fuel but I'm guessing something oxygenated like nitro methanol and some kind of lubricant mixed with it or it may just be regular race gas from vp and some two stroke mix it depends on the compression ratio. The exhaust will be tuned to block cross flow from the transfer ports to the exhaust ports by having the pressure wave come back the second the intake port opens basically blocking the exhaust so you don't lose much intake charge. You can use engmod simulation software to help calculate that the carburetor will be massive and there will be no airfilter. These engines are meant to run 1/8th of a mile and then be shut down, taken apart and inspected and have the parts required replaced. Nothing about this is a banshee anymore.
