  • Hi folks well last weekend we had the chance to take my fave bike from last year the BMW r18 on a 2up glamping trip although this time it was the bagger variant fitted with all mod cons , as Faye said in the vid if it was the trans continental with back box etc it would of been perfect but she found her self clinging on and doing a core workout haha

      Yep glamping pods or cabins as times have moved on since a wigwam with a bed in it although we've done a few vids on them as well .... 👍

    The amount of bikes in the car park anyone would think it the weather is getting warmer. Also I have a heel toe on my little cruiser and I kinda prefer it, apart from my big feet occasionally knocking it back into neutral.

    Okay so I test rode the R18TC, I am 6’3” tall with a 33.5 inseam and found the big ole R18 not very comfortable. I am a BMW fan, own a R1250R currently, have owned the F800GT, the R1200RT and the R1200GS. Was going to try the R18 but found it to be well meh. Then tried the K1600GA and the engine is amazing just doesn’t have a proper rumble. Ended up picking up a 2023 Indian Challenger with the V-Twin 122 HP and 128 FT. LB. Torque, the Challenger is a great bike. Tried the Harley’s too, and might have bought one if the dealers didn’t play games with price. LOL, what dealer does that LOL (all of them). Anyway, enjoy the R18…

    what a fantatstic video, full of enthusiasm, fun and proper responsible biking. I bought an R18 TC up here in Scotland 4 weeks ago, chopped in a GSA. Like you, I would never have looked at one when I was younger but I have had more fun on this bike than any other I have owned. Get poor Faye a topbox, they are a bolt on accesory

    Not usually too keen on the bagger style of motorcycle ,but I could make an exception for that big Beemer . It looks like it could glide through continents with ease . Defiantly the best version of a bagger I have seen ,just needs a stylish back rest for pillions . You have both defiantly got the taste for the posh now , with all this glamping malarkey . It beats carting a load of camping gear ,& gives you some of the comforts of a hotel . Nice one 👍

    Looks the part that bike. I finally joined the cruiser club last month after many years of sports/naked bikes. Bought 2010 triumph thunderbird. Took a bit of getting used to, but got some miles on it now and love it, can't see myself on anything else now.

    The bagger isn't for me, I prefer my K1600. BMW missed a vital thing in not making the phone compartments compatible with all sizes of phones, it is the same on my bike but if you don't charge your phone on the move the BMW app sucks the life out of the phone battery. I loved this video.

    • @TinsonTour
      @TinsonTour  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tbf the app only took 20% out the phone but defo agree about the compartment being to small for most modern phones , wonder if they are gonna make a fix for it 👍
