OMG this band was so vastly underrated. Many of Johns songs were so melodic incorporating many chords, eg. fella In The Cellar, with the backing of orchestration to add icing to the proverbial cake. Other compositions like Plain Jane with the trippy and dreamy instrumental parts, the Jack The Ripper trilogy, and the concluding track from Rebel… Pull the Damn Thing Down just illustrate the amazing diversity of this Band. I collected all the JM albums in 1981 plus his latest, at that time, Play On in 1983… taped them and played them to death in the car up and down the A1! I look forward to seeing more songs like this, performed by this talented trio, John, Bob and Barry…RIP John.

This came from the Tyne Tees studio in Newcastle and in the early nineteen eighties a programme called the Tube came from and featured a certain Jools holand and where he cut his teeth as a tv presenter

Holy Moly. This is an absolute treasure. I had this album in 9th grade and played the hell out of it. To see THIS song with THIS quality... Thank you!! What a voice.

Yes, this video is one of best what i have ever seen. Truly, best was the drummer, he steal the hole show. Cause, i'm drummer too, but this performance was awsome, but i've got all JM:s discs and i've been in concert in Helsinki and then all began. I'am very pleased after that, and this moment, i always listen his music, when feelings are what they are. Thanks JM
