did you find out if you have this
Jeniffer Davis yeah, like 2 years ago. I used to suffer massive nonstop headaches and discomfort. A doctor told me I had this. Just recommended exercising and regular donation of blood.
I’ve only just started seeing how bad it is from the internet and now I don’t know if the doctor should’ve done a better job to alarm me or if I’m overreacting
@@imark2569 i think i have this :(
@@imark2569hi
I was diagnosed with polycythemia vera, it's been a few months now. I've had multiple phlebotomies. It's unfortunate that it's such a rare blood cancer. Well I guess that came out a little bit wrong. 😂
@@Yvettep777 Hello Mona, through a blood test. The blood test will show you have too many red blood cells and then they'll do further test. That's how mine was diagnosed
@@Yvettep777 since mine was diagnosed in a blood draw, and I really wouldn't have any idea how else to diagnose.
Just ask your doctor to check your blood levels and see what's going on
@@Yvettep777 if you doubt his diagnosis could always go to another doctor and have him ever look at your. Fatigue has a very big part of this.
@@Yvettep777 I think if the doctor told you you don't have it, then you probably don't have it perhaps your fatigue is coming from somewhere.
@@Yvettep777 all I do now is I have a blood draw once or twice a month, the doctor looks at it and decides if I need a phlebotomy that month.
I was fortunate enough to not need one last month. So that was good. Otherwise the phlebotomies are pretty regular in my case.

What do you mean by vera🙄
Vera is a female first name of Russian origin, and by folk etymology it has also been explained as Latin vera meaning true. In Russian, Vera means faith.
