- The Bulky Houndstooth Beanie crochet pattern is a crochet hat that you can make in a couple of hours, maybe less!
That's one of the wonderful things about working crochet beanies in a bulky or super bulky weight yarn: they work up so quickly. This Bulky Houndstooth Beanie is worked from the brim up and is fitted for an adult head with a 20-22 inch circumference.
This beanie is so easy to work! There is a bit of colour work involved, but the stitches used are half double, double and single crochet. You can complete the pattern in no time and the bulky weight yarn is super cozy to wear.
A free written copy of this crochet pattern can be found on my ad supported website: richtexturescr...

Good and clear.
Thank you. This pattern looks perfect for my middle school son. Fashionable but simple enough for a young boy.
I ❤ how you make patterns that look so nice, but aren’t complicated. Easily worked, quickly worked, and looks great. Can’t wait to make this! Thank you. 😊

Fabulous pattern 🙏
Great pattern. I had it printed but had to check out how to do hdc in third loop. Found your tutorial for it. You’ve got it all covered girl! Good for you. 🙏
I love this! I've got a feeling I'll be making a couple of these!!
Ooh that’s nice. I’ve been looking for a more masculine beanie 👍🏻
Hping for the third loop rd 2 etc was tricky.
I know I could go in the house and try this myself but I wanted to ask anyway. Could you work this from the top down in a spiral instead of that I’m sorry I hate hate hate slip stitch, chain, whatever. I love your designs I just wanted to ask you about the spiral thing. Thank you.
I cannot seem to do that type of start. No matter what I try its always twisted. Any suggestions?
I wish she would do one top down instead.
Hue and me is bulky #5
I know if anybody could help me is you I want to make a newborn hat with a brim from bottom up
Starting chain of 40 stitches doesn’t begin to fit around my average size head! Something is very wrong.
Is this for an adult size??
Doesn’t seem like it is. Starting chain of 40 doesn’t begin to go around an average adult head.
