Easy Crochet Textured Beanie-Learn the Alpine Stitch!

- This gorgeous chunky crochet hat is made using the Alpine Stitch. The texture gives mountain peak vibes and is surprisingly not too thick when made with this yarn. It requires very little yardage and works up surpsingly fast, making it a great market prep or craft fair item.
This particular pattern is not on my blog, but you can find the ad-free printable pdf for relatively little cost in my pattern shops.

Supplies Needed
-100-110 of any super bulky weight (size 6) yarn. My favs are LBWET&Q, LB Hometown USA, and Yarn Bee True Colors. For this tutorial, I am using LBWET&Q in the color Taupe. Lion Brand has a ton of amazing color ways in this line of yarn. You can find more here (affiliate): shrsl.com/4bvzl
-Size 10.0 mm hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
-Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure, stitch markers
-Embellishments of choice
Gauge
Diameter should measure approx. 6.5-7 inches after completing Rounds 1-3. If your diameter measures differently, you need to adjust your hook size accordingly and begin again.
Finished Measurements
Hat is made to fit the average adult-sized head, measuring approx. 21-24 inches in circumference and approx. 8.5-9 inches in length.
