  • In this video, I'm going to show you how to pass the SAFE MLO test on your first try! The Mortgage Loan Originator NMLS exam is tough, but these are the tactics I used to pass my exam on my first try. I am confident that with these tips, you can easily pass as well.
    Best study practice exam questions:
    partners.oncourselearning.com...
^This is the exact exam prep I took. I highly recommend it if you are looking for the best way to study for the MLO/NMLS exam - It is affordable but super effective, and they have thousands of practice questions, which I recommend if you want to pass your test the first try. Can't stress how important getting exam prep like this is!
This video is NOT sponsored - I just want to help as many of you save as much time as possible and pass quickly because I think the mortgage career is amazing. If you use my link, I will receive a small commission which helps keep videos like this free. Thank you!

The common misconception that wastes a lot of time is that you need to read each and every word on the Loan Originator course. I can say that this is not true and a big waste of time - I passed the test easily and I mostly skimmed the material. Now, reading the entire text will 100% help you pass the test, but it isn't the best use of your time. I know a lot of you guys are super busy, and even though the course is not too long, the hours are better spent elsewhere.
We'll talk about the best strategy to pass your MLO exam (using practice questions), study tips, and other helpful things. This is exactly what I would tell someone who is preparing for the NMLS exam and wants to study as efficiently as possible.
Honestly, the test is not too hard and if you study using this guide, I can pretty much guarantee you'll pass on the first try. This test is just like any other state exam - you can learn to take it, review practice questions that closely mimic the real exam, and understand how they word the questions.
Hope this video helps you out! I put a lot of effort into these videos to help you guys out, so please make sure to support my channel by liking and subscribing! Thank you.

Passed my exam today on the first try!! So glad I found your video a few months ago. I used your compucram promotion and studied continuously for 2-3 months.
My suggestion to anyone newly studying is to try as many practice questions as possible and do a full simulated exam every few days. The more questions you’re exposed to, the better.
Excited to start my new adventure in Origination. Thank you Charlie!

@@itscard0man No you don’t. A lot of people actually recommend you only go for one. But I have both and can tell you some of the pros & cons for each.
MLO: Pros - Less competition, ability to be a w-2 salary employee (Job security), Remote job usually, Ability to switch to a broker commission based style whenever you want.
Cons - Much harder studying/exams, more complicated day to day job duties, market is hard to find work in right now compared to previous years due to less people refinancing, buying, and selling
Real estate License: Pros - Easier exams, much more support in terms of classes & popularity, less boring day to day & easier job in terms of complications
Cons - Income insecurity, your income depends on how many closings you can generate, not usually remote, always going to show/list houses or meet clients

Hi, I’m not seeing where the pre- license course material or classes are. I see a pre approved corse one NMLS but than how is that diff than compucram? The NMLS website leave a lot of uncertainty.
Am I correct there is only one test or two?
