Those of us that have never been in addiction will probably never understand the decision one in addiction makes..i have a brother right now living in a hotel while in his addiction..hes on almost a yr run this time..recently called my mom and said that he wants to live his life his way..all we can do is pray for him! He was sober 12 yrs before this relapse..its very frustrating for family to watch.even more frustrating when they call because addiction changes their logical parts of themselves that use to be..never does any good to cut them down..im praying this young lady makes it.😊😊❤😊❤
I am sorry you are going through that with yur brother. Hopefully he deicdes to get clean again but you are right all you can do is be ready to be there for him when or if he decides to change
Ty Jeff, my mother is 81 yrs old. It's very hard seeing what it's done to my mother..she lost one son to addiction..my mother and I have been there thru the yrs for both of my brothers. I actually had to step in and raise my brothers son..this last relapse of my youngest brother was so horrific because it involved a nice home my mother gave him..we just finished fixing the house..copper pipping pulled out of the walls,his German shepherd left in the house for two weeks,etc..people need to understand the other side of this addiction..there is another side! It affects your whole family emotionally n physically.. it gets to the point that all we can do as a family is pray for them to rise up alone thru rehab and to surround themselves with ppl that have been thru the same.god bless you for your strength in what you do for others in addiction and that you keep going strong! Praying that my brother encounters someone like yourself to give him hope again.again,ty for the kind words.😊❤️🙏
Whilst I do agree, where I live some vets and pet shelters help out certain people because they know how they can help give them a purpose and emotional support.

I mentioned before that she looks like she put on a lot of weight. She must have gained 50 pounds easy. I mean it's good to keep your weight up when you're super thin but you don't want to be drinking too much of those ensures/sports drinks because they have a TON of SUGAR!! If you go back and watch her last video, she looks very different than in this video.

Then the doctor, (she was hospitalized at the time) came to me telling me my daughter was now diabetic because she is fat. I told that doctor. My daughter was taken off and the diabetes reversed. It turns out, those type of drugs can cause diabetes. I'm glad you and my daughter were spared that destiny.

Wow, I understand that it's a free place to live but I would think having that many mice would be a health code violation... mice are extremely nocturnal and are afraid of light, humans and noise. Which means if they're out where she's actually seeing them then there's a huge horrible infestation. Also, how is she going to afford to care for a pet, especially a kitten who's going to need all of their shots and is going to need to be fixed. That's pretty irresponsible. Animals aren't throwaways, they're lifelong commitments.

She was looking to give her phone # out to collect some handouts… and she’s just like all of the other addicts out there looking for free housing too.. how about figuring out a way to get yourself together and not worrying about bringing a cat into a homeless shelter….it’s amazing to me that they all want housing because they are tired of living on the street… Meanwhile most have families they can go home too, but they aren’t willing to stop smoking crack and shooting that trash into their bodies.. and btw… I’ve been down this road myself… in the past… never expected anyone to give me anything either.. it was my choice to do what I was doing.

Often times it's a prescribed medication that causes excessive rapid weight gain, if that's what happened. Many antipsychotics do this.
She seems quite happy with her gain. I've gained weight myself feel I can't judge.
I put on over 100 pounds when I was on seroquel which is a pretty strong antipsych medication.
