As awesome of a hobby yoyoing is, there are inevitably some frustrations one will deal with, all in good fun of course ;) Here is a list of 5 things that frustrate yoyoers! I hope you enjoyed! I had lots of fun working on this and plan on making a part 2! Lots more great content to come!

Most frustrating thing to me is stuck dirty bearings, and the walk the dog question stresses me out so much, especially when I do it and they are far more impressed by walk the dog than anything else I was doing lmao, But a good way to combat that question is to tell them you can do walk the dog on your finger aka just a grind but they don't know that lol
Lol! Super relatable and am definitely enjoying this. Axle knots and walk the dog are by far frustrates me the most. Dinged a yoyo, I moved on quite quickly from that. Anyway, great video Lucas!

I had a friend in College that would yoyo and people would ask him to walk the dog so much that he would carry his Yomega fireball with him just to show them so he didn't mess up his good yoyo.
I've just started to learn yoyo-ing a couple of weeks ago and got a beginner yoyo. I can totally relate to the axle knots as learning new tricks causes a lot of it to happen and I always end up having to dismantle the yoyo and get it corrected 😅😅😆😆.

I EDC a titanium yoyo or two, so I'm personally not too bothered by dinging or asking someone to walk the dog. Super durable and sends out sparks that I love seeing people react to. Only downside is the insane prices 😂

do you need to cut the string or use lubricant for yoyoing in general? and also do you have to cut the string or use lubecricant on a Shutter WA

back in 2014/15 i did got my hands on a army camo shutter, when i did arrive ad the skatepark a friend was their who did know a little bit of the basics and asket if he could give it a try ...... he trowed it into the concreet :( it still hurts i got PTSS from it whaha.

My biggest gripe is unseen knots that lead to me hitting myself in the face.
Gotta disagree on the first point though, I like my yoyo to have a bit of sound.
I swapped my new bimetal to a prelubed bearing and immediately had to switch back, I don't like this yoyo being silent.

I can relate to him, i had these problems before, and couple of my yoyos i have are scratched, dinged or both.
My guy I dedicated to these videos and purposely dinged his yo-yo for the grind

I was whipper snipping around the yard today and got a blister on the inside of my pointer finger throw hand. I've just started landing the 2.0 hook and just wanna have a throw but the sting is real lol

The most frusterating thing for me is that now days people ask me if they can use my Yoyo and then they act like it will come straight back up without even a tug.
My Yoyo keeps ringing and i am like "Umm you can learn it on TH-cam(I'll take that)"

When you leave the community for a year and lose all your yo-yos and you don’t remember anything so now you have to start all over

I have few things that FRUSTRATE YoYoers when comes to 4A / Offstring
1. When you trying to do a whip trick on your 4a yoyo, It misses
2. When you try to catch the yoyo with the string after you did a basic throw, it misses
3. When you been playing and dropping your 4a yoyo, The silicone stickers come off and you had to still play without the silicone stickers
This is about the trick “WALK THE DOG”
Quick story time:
I was just chilling to my own vibe doing insane 1A style tricks, when some strangers watch me perform. Meanwhile they are impressed but they aren’t completely. One of those idiots was like, “Can you walk the dog?” I’m like, “Are you fucking kidding me? I did a bunch of other cool shit! And you’re concerned if I can walk the dog?????” So instead I pulled out my 2A yoyo the, “HORNET” and I did a powerful inside loop and hit him in the face. It serves him right for disrespecting my talent. 😂😂😂😂

the worst is string tension
The 5 things that frustrate me in yoyoing in general. No particular order
1. Yoyos that are too quiet, i like a bit of noise to tell if the yoyos spinning strong or if the spin times are dying so i know to bring it back.
2. Flat bearings, there too quiet and i just don't like them.
3. Plastic yoyos over 20pound or dollars that don't have a metal ring on the inner rim because it creates the best spin times for plastic yoyos.
4. Yoyo designs when theres a little bit of a nub that the yoyo brushes past that slows spin like the first clyw puffin.
5. Yoyos with moving parts on the inside like the spacers in the overthrow or a axle that moves too much.
JUST dinged my new Horizon off the sidewalk trying to catch a “Evan Ngaou” style Sky bind😭😭😭
@@LucasDeckerYoYo - before this ding I never really did too many palm grinds , NOW I’m ALL about Palm grinds and have convinced myself the little “chuk chuk chuk “ noise I hear when the ding runs on my palm is preventing me from being THE MASTER of Palm grinds 😂😂😂
I’ll never forget it when I got my first edge I opened it and like a total noob I left the string super long and I dinged it so hard off my kitchen floor and it’s marble floors and it just absolutely trashed it. Luckily now I have I believe 7 edge yo-yos but my god it devastated me as a young kid
Ahh yeah I think we've all been there with 1 or 2 of our new yoyos. But hey, you got 7 of them now so it sounds like you bounced back!!💪

I was playing for weeks on a yoyo with a bent axle. Dings are nothing compared to the vibe I was playing on..
It was literally visible wobbles.
I ding my edge beyond yoyo and my heart was shutter in pieces 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. I only had for last than a month. Also do you how to fix a ding yoyo? Like is there a way? I don’t think there is but you never knows. Please make a video about ding yoyo and if it’s possible to be fix.
The incorrect terminology is also true for speedcubing. I'll be solving a big cube and someone goes "BRO IS THST A 10x10?"

What frustrates me is when you get a knot you cant get out in a new string and when your response pads where out and you have no spars

I one time at school had a kid come up to me and ask me to do the "swing trick" and I was like you mean rock the baby right? And he said no it's the swing trick and I just walked away.
Most frustrating thing is when you put a new string on and you throw the yoyo but as soon as you do the string gets a knot

Bro second one is so relatable. I was yoyoing in public and woman walked by with a i guess maybe 3-4 y/o kid. And this kid stopped by and started looking on me when I was doing the trick and (I think that's his mom) said to him: Come (name) Boy is playing with a ball... I smiled to be kind but when she turned around i was like 😑😤😡
