From being blasted by the Terminator, literally ripped in two by the Alien Queen, or getting gutted by the Predator, Lance has met his end courtesy of three of the biggest sci-fi monsters ever. Arguably Bill Paxton and Lance are the only two actors to be killed by each in the aforementioned trio. Speaking of Bill, Lance shares fond memories of his departed friend. Sadly he also dispatches any rumor of any type of him returning as the fan favorite android Bishop. With his long career there are so many highlights not touched upon, like how he almost played the terminator, and pumpkinhead an underrated horror flick. Then there is Near Dark, apparently its a gem I myself haven't seen.
This guy is such a great and charismatic actor.

@@Mastermind-m5n Not really, I think his character (Bishop) is secretly an alien, but Lance doesn't play a growling, bloodthirsty alien
@@olivierseurin1204 Bishop is a robot from what I heard, Cameron came up with that idea after the Terminator because Henriksen was his first choice for the cyborg before seeing Arnold.

Man he's always been one of my favorite actors since childhood. He basically raised me while the TV babysat me. Pumpkinhead, Aliens, Near Dark, Deadman, powder, millennium. How epic is this guy??

He is talking about Near Dark on almost every convention, it's far from forgotten. He literally gets asked about the same 4-5 films every year.
Escape from Absolom, that is one of Lance's bigger films that rarely gets attention.

I love his voice. He sounds kind of like a stereotypical old man his voice is really deep and has a very caring and kind inflection to his voice that just reminds me of going to my grandparents house when I was little
He had also a beautiful voice when he was more younger...and his American accent is moderate. I saw him again recently in the movie "Profile for Murder" (1996), same period than "Millennium". He was very charismatic in his mid-50s .

First time I saw Lance Henriksen was in the movie "Stonecold" back in the 90's. Great movie and he is a great actor.
love his down to Earth attitude .... his charisma and acting skills are breath taking watch Gunfighter Moon that part was played by a guy who has so much 'passion and love' he portrayed a father that was deprived of his child painful, to watch as the plot unfolded ... PRAYERS that film was real

Happy Birthday Lance Henriksen. UR incredible legend. Me, and my younger and older brothers, we love Alien VS Predator. Its awesome horror movie, even Alien vs Predator Requiem. We watched all of them...! Prometheus, Alien Covenant, Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Prey, Predator, Predator 2, Predators 3, and The Predator 4. All. I can't wait to see the new new alien movie. Tarzan is amazing, I love Disney movies. They're great. The Terminator is totally awesome, I seen all of them, we did... part 1 is pretty kool. Hard Target is great action, so astounding..Me and my older brother, we love Mass 1, 2, 3, & Legendary Edition. Alien games is hardcore, pretty badass. This guy is one of my favorite actors..i saw him in alien but the move i liked him in a move called hit list with Jan Michael Vincent...lance played the hitman that also works in a shoe store...this was the first time I saw a desert eagle... lance had it...he was the coolest bad guy I ever seen. Big up lance....always one of the great ones...

The real VOICE! Wow...a Man's Man...last of a generation. Lance is the ultimate example of a working actor w 253 credits to his name. Just great in Jennifer 8! this is the coolest hollywood actor i ve ever seen in real time...no wonder he works so much...he is easy to be around...there are usually 10 other actors that are up for parts...you hire a actor that is cool

He's a very good actor and a very good potter, too. His biography is amazing. I so wish for a concluding 4th season of "MillenniuM" or a feature film. It's still possible, Mr. Chris Carter, Fox television.

Well, I joined the Marines out of family tradition, but Aliens (and Heartbreak Ridge) helped steer me into that choice.

I think I read he was at conventions in Europe but that could be old news. I'm limited to Texas and hope he comes back. Interesting reading that he auditioned for the Terminator and was in the running, and the other script for aliens 3 that featured Bishop and Cpl Dwayne instead of Ripley. Although many would argue I think I'd rather have that movie.
