I love T Ice. I've been using the same packs for about 15 years in my lunch box and coolers for camping. When I take the pack out at the end of the day it's usually still frozen or very cold. I just bought some more. If you pre chill your items first you should not have a problem.

mine seems to have holes.. after inflating, when light pressure is exerted, water leaks out?! isn't it supposed to be a one way surface for water so that water can enter but not exit?

I used these for the first time over the weekend, and I am not impressed at all. I was told by a lady at the Caravan show where i bought them from, that they will last for 5 days, but after just 1 day it was no longer frozen. I will be going back to using salted ice.

If you read the instructions it explains how the cold transfer process works, and how to help TI to last as long as possible. Perhaps your food mass required more pads on top, etc. We too have used TI for at least 15 years. I wouldn't use it as a soda can cooler, but sheets in the bottom for cooler, filled with ice and sodas does help the ice cubes to last longer as well. Good luck.

I recently purchased the HDR dry ice packs and froze them overnight. I noticed that there’s a clear crystal like substance frozen on all the perforated part of the cell. When I use them in ice chests and they thaw out I see this same clear crystal substance come out of the perforations. I know Techni Ice is food safe / Non toxic but is this okay to use? Any other people had similar observations when using it? Did I charge it with too much water?

I'm gonna put 1 around my neck, on my chest, and on my head. My body won't cool itself, and I pray this helps. 😜
