Did i just see real wine and gunpowder go into those barrells? That is incredible!! This build is literally a scaled down version of the real thing.
Beautiful work! Such attention to detail and craftsmanship, and also to what goes into building one for real on a large scale. Really makes one appreciate how much work went into them. And then a pirate goes and and sinks it! Arrrrr. Pirates 🏴☠️

Ok, I just started watching the video and I had ti stop to say you had me at lofting. I've never seen anybody loft a small wooden boat. I love building wooden boats, but they always come in prefab pieces you just clip and put it where it says. I'm impress. Can't wait to see you do the planking, putting the hanging and lodging knees. Put the carbines, the bulwark, laying the deck! I see you're working with a body plan. Do you also have a sheer and halfbreadth plan? That's awesome.

Schade nur das die Planken unter einem Farblack verschwunden sind, bei soviel Arbeit hätte ich diese mit einem dicken klaren Bootslack versiegelt. Bin gespannt wie es weiter geht, hab erst das halbe Video geschaut.
Wahnsinn, dass ist Modellbau in absoluter Perfektion. Meinen aller grössten Respekt.

Спасибо огромное, за ваш труд, очень позновательно и есть чему учиться, строю подобные модели , ваши модели меня очень впечатляют. , знаю очень трудоемко все и долго, сам строю 74х пушечник из 'коробки', но с полной переделкой, до мельчайших 'подробностей', из за недостатка времени 3й год, но это только хобби) парусники это самое сложное, и возможно вершина флота... Еще раз спасибо.

Two ships being built and rebuilt now on TH-cam are the Arabella(acorn to arabella).. and the Tallyho(Sampson Boat co.) So if you want to see a New build of a wooden boat and a rebuild of a 100 year old one check them out...

Noone mentioning the fact that you put real wine and real gunpowder in the barrels at that point it's not a model ship, just a miniature ship for miniature people

I built the Halifax model just like these was starting with the rigging which I feel was the most difficult part of the build came home from work and found the bow crushed masts broken my wife was dusting /cleaning and off the work table it went and gravity took over lol
Couldn’t repair it and kept it as a shipwreck model lol

too hard the guy works the old fashioned way, I mean no modern electric tools, no sanders...all by hand!!
Do you plan to make these models sinkable?
Would be a huge waste of money and craftwork
