Not only that, but in almost every _Deluxe_ DLC, you'll see they almost look a little flattened (noticeable in *Wii Maple Treeway,* *3DS Rainbow Road* and etc.) just like in _Tour._ Only change for _Deluxe_ is that they change up the lighting and texture to make them look sharper than _8_ and _Tour_ to add realism. It's real, but doesn't match _8's_ style to it, since it uses _Tour's_ assets for the most part. Like *3DS Rock Rock Mountain.* As for the anti-gravity mechanics (Which is what _Mario Kart 8/Deluxe_ is known for), they add some a bit here and there in _Deluxe's_ DLC, but not as much as _8_ did with its own DLC. I was in Vancouver when this track release, I asked my family to take me to all the different landmarks, like the steamclock, the hockey stadium, and the Capolano Suspension Bridge. I had a great time
That weird ass instrument sax vocaloid thingy at 0:28 is literally the best thing that could've been added to this song. Like, what a brilliant addition!
I still need to get used to it, but I think it will eventually. Same thing happened with me for the Singapore Speedway synth solo, I didn't like the instrument change at first but it grew on me.
I knew this day would come. Years again, i thought this was the best music in the mario Kart tour, and was quite sad that it would never return with a live recorded version. Until the Dlc announced, the music leak happened, and waited 2 years to finally hear this song. I knew, and i mean, i knew they wouldn't mess this one. To my surprised i never thought it would sound this unreal. It truly a crazy ride we Tour fans have been on, but im glad it is finally over. We can rest easy now that the best Tour track and the top ten Mario Kart music were done justice.
I have seen a lot of people saying that this is a really disappointing wave. But I'm glad that we finally got Vancouver Velocity. Along with Singapore Speedway they're the Tour Tracks that i was most excited to play. And it's stupendous ✨ 🇨🇦🍁
Not really a bad wave, is better than wave 1, but wave 2, 3 and 4 was a lot better. For example, Sidney sprint, London Loop and Singapore Speedway felt much better than Vancover Velocity.
I'm genuinely confused as to why people are overwhelmed by this wave? It's not better than wave 4 but surpasses every other wave quite easily. Returning tracks like Moonview Highway and Daisy Cruiser are absolute bangers, all of the tour tracks are fantastic this time around, and the original track Squeaky Clean Sprint is just fabulous! Even if Wave 4 had higher highs, Wave 5 is wayyyy more consistent with its quality.
Unlike other tour tracks, this one is actually somewhat cool for once. It’s not just a basic looking city track that is just a concrete mess of beige buildings like the others
As a Canadian I always feel so much pressure to do well on Vancouver when it gets picked. So glad to have Canadian representation in the best racing game of all time finally.

this is definitely my favorite wave aside from sunset. these tracks are extremely fun and my favorite versions of all the retros, especially koopa cape.
Never once heard the song to its fullest until I played the track in Wave 5 tonight. I purposely never heard the tune because I heard from a lot of people that it’s really really good and god damn they weren’t kidding. I got goosebumps as soon as the intro lead into the main part of the tune during my first race. Makes Vancouver feel so mystical and fits the winter frontier vibe excellently. Might rival Sydney, Singapore, and Athens as the best Tour theme.
Just glad that the sound leak version for this track wasn’t accurate because my god, this here is sheer perfection. It doesn’t stray too much from the original but still sounds more better ❤️

While it was always gonna be hard to change perfection, this version still does a good job in keeping what made the original aspects of the song really good while also giving it more of a funky vibe.
To be honest, Nintendo didn't really have to go hard on making this banger remix. I'm also glad that I can race on Vancouver Velocity at anytime in 8 Deluxe without waiting for this track to appear in the future Tours in Tour. I could say the same thing with Merry Mountain since it's a December Exclusive tracks in Tour.

Good to see that the Tour tracks are being archived in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so that when the servers for Mario Kart Tour shut down, we will still have a way to play them. Here's hoping they will incorporate backwards and remixed tracks in future mainline Mario Kart games!

I've played though all the Tour tracks that came into the Booster Course Pass. As a being who enjoys all the waves. I gotta say this song right here out of the city tracks from tour that ended up here. This is my number 1. Actually more like tied with Signapore and Sydney. But I'm losing track. This is a beautiful song to listen to just to chill, relax, and just enjoy the long drive ahead. 100/10.
