Nice videos. I was just up there today (8/13). Did the trail from Jackson Meadows Resv over to Meadow Lake and then back out to Rd 86 and the paved road going into Jackson Meadows. Awesome area. Did it in my Subaru XV Crosstrek. Slow going and only hard part was dropping down into the Meadow lake area - big mud hole! Put the little Crosstrek handled it well. Gota say you were lucky by having that area to yourself's! Today - I'm guessing 400 to 500 hundred peeps up at Meadow Lake - some kind of Jeepers event happening this weekend. Yikes! Was gonna try and find the petroglyphs but will have to wait for another time. I don't live far from the area but outside of Jackson Meadows Resv, haven't played much in this area. I'm over in Plumas county. Thanks again and will be watching for your next adventure....
Awesome. Glad you got out there! Sounds like you went when the annual Sierra Trek was going on! It can be a zoo during that time but a different kind of fun. Subaru’s are very capable rigs! Definitely go back when Sierra Trek not happening for the solitude! Take care!
Hey! Awesome and thank you so much!! I really appreciate it. I have a DJI Mavic Air 2. Also got the Fly More Package with it. I will upgrade eventually so that I can get ProRes footage but for now this does well. Color grading is difficult with this footage so very little options in post production. thats why I want to upgrade eventually. Funny story. This is our second one. The first one jack shattered into pieces when learning how to fly it while hanging stuff off it with string. He lowered to fast and the string got caught in the blades, flipped it over and shattered in our driveway! Just had to laugh! Anyways, thanks again and let me know if you have other questions!
thanks for posting! awesome video!
Thank you!!
There's also a Cemetery about 1/4 of a mile from where were camping at to check out as well.
I been up there a few times , with my ATV .
