To get the units I went through the script and changed the unit size multiplier to get these large amount of troops. To do this just search "how to changed unit size in napoleon total war" then you'll figure it out.

Thinking realistically, after losing at least 1000 of your comrades and being under artillery fire you will be probably can't able to even hold a rifle in your hands so a bayonet charge would be impossible for that soldiers in real life, but this war isn't realistic too so I don't know you are right I guess

I remember playing this game when it came out, it was the 4th total war I had played. Rome is the first and still to this day my favorite I like medieval 2 with mods and thought empire was interesting but couldn’t suck me in like rome had. Then I played this and loved it spent way too long in this game, then went back to empire during the wait for shogun 2 and realized that napoleon is an artillery fest… it’s more of artillery total war than guns. I prefer empire to this game because while it is cool to see cannons and all I preferred line fire from empire when FOTS came out that became my favorite of the gunpowder games while napoleon is at the bottom of the list imo it still has a special place in my heart for the first gunpowder total war that I enjoyed to the point of playing it far too much

With the normal scripts, its not possible to change the stats of the units or abilities without any modding software, but the only thing you can really change in the vanilla game is the unit size, limitless ammo, and game settings. So if you want to do that, you'd have to get darthmod or something similar of the sort, sorry to disappoint.

@@robinz.9774 As there is no "scare them away" mechanic in the game they may as well be seen as decorative, like fire works.

@@spudpud-T67 I found that I usually get more kills with rockets than other artillery. Which also happens to be air burst rounds like howitzers.

I know this is for fun. But in a real strategic game, I rather switch all infantry to melee mode and charge in.

canister shot is usually a lot more effective in this game. Most of the shots just went over the heads of the brits.
