To get the units I went through the script and changed the unit size multiplier to get these large amount of troops. To do this just search "how to changed unit size in napoleon total war" then you'll figure it out.

canister shot is usually a lot more effective in this game. Most of the shots just went over the heads of the brits.
the fact that i find innocent British men getting absolutely slaughtered by cannons somewhat satisfying concerns me.

I remember playing this game when it came out, it was the 4th total war I had played. Rome is the first and still to this day my favorite I like medieval 2 with mods and thought empire was interesting but couldn’t suck me in like rome had. Then I played this and loved it spent way too long in this game, then went back to empire during the wait for shogun 2 and realized that napoleon is an artillery fest… it’s more of artillery total war than guns. I prefer empire to this game because while it is cool to see cannons and all I preferred line fire from empire when FOTS came out that became my favorite of the gunpowder games while napoleon is at the bottom of the list imo it still has a special place in my heart for the first gunpowder total war that I enjoyed to the point of playing it far too much

How did you manage to get the enemy to match that way...--usually they'll form in some sort of formation, and not just march in column/squares lol
if the gun units would of melee charged you would of lost that one the ai was dumb

Is 600 to a unit the max setting or is it modded? Cause that’s the largest I’ve seen a total war unit get outside of Warhammer.
I went into the files of the game itself and edited it from there to get these unit sizes
