    Salty sea man!! Thanks, dude. I've been 17 years in the diving sport industry as a diver and doing diving schools. Now it's time to change path a little bit, so I'm just getting into this new world of commercial diving, a whole new world for me. Thanks for inspiring me and explaining a little bit about the industry and its full aspects. What would you recommend for someone who is just starting in the industry and wants to point towards SAT diving at a certain point? Any details from someone with experience in the matter for someone who is just starting. Thanks in advance, Cheers from Chile

    Been doing a job pulling weeds on the bottom of a lake for 2 weeks now.
    Imagine this vis while also being waste deep in bottom mud for 9 hours a day and you have my current reality.

    • @CommercialDivingFAQ

      Really anything thats hands on or construction type experience will help but I wouldn't side track your dive training to do anything else as a lot of it you learn on the job. Once you have a bit of experience in the commercial diving world, you'll know what extra training you'll need to help take the next step up in your career.

    Salty Sea Man. What watch do you wear for DSD?

    • @CommercialDivingFAQ
      @CommercialDivingFAQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice one Al, salty all the way! In commercial SSBA or Sat diving, all our dives are run by a supervisor so no need for a dive watch. But, for my recreational diving or anything SCUBA I personally wear a Mares Matrix. The reason I chose this watch back in 2014 was because it was small, compact, rechargeable and had options for free diving as well as mixed gas diving. It's taken a beating and going strong all these years later. Plus Mares support is top notch. PS I have no affiliation with Mares (yet), I just like to recommend good quality products. #Mares
