    Do you think it’s possible to combine powerlifting/oly lifting which requires a lot of muscle mass and commercial diving? Will having a lot of muscle ruin my chances? I enjoy my gains very much 😂

    Since you brought up tobacco use. What would the effects be for someone how chews or dips?

    • @TheSaltyDiver
      @TheSaltyDiver  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Virtually everyone chews. I've seen people chew in dive hats and spit out the exhaust. Lol

      I could be more in depth. The reason why smoking is difficult is because the smoke/tar shit costs the alveoli in the lungs over time which reduces the carbon dioxide/oxygen exchange in the blood stream. This is why smokers are prone to running out of breath so fast, the co2 builds up in the bloodstream a lot faster.Chewing has the same effects as all nicotine products, it releases endorphins, temporary increases the pulse and blood pressure, but it doesn't coat your lungs with roadway materials.

      nicotine is a vasodialater, it constricts the veins.. i can't see that being good while diving, but im sure people do it anyway.

      Collage... of Oceaneering?
      New school eh? hahaha
      I went to the COLLEGE of Oceaneering in Wilmington! Back in the 80's.
      Wasn't the same after Oceaneering sold it, though.

      From my understanding, the school in San Diego... while it used to be associated with Oceaneering and the 'College of Oceaneeing' at one time... became a completely different animal, along with the move to SD.
