I'm almost done! I messed up somewhere in the middle of the body and somehow missed a stitch. The whole thing is a little bit off, but I don't think the cats at the animal shelter will mind :). Also, I have no steel yarn needles so I tried using my plastic one to get through all of the stuffing. It snapped right in half! Good thing I have a dad to buy me them, since I'm only 13 and can't drive. Hehe. You're an amazing teacher and I look forward to making some of your other projects! xo, ~Maria

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for this video and your many other videos. 2 weeks ago I'd never tried crochet at all and thanks to your wonderful tutorials I've made tons of these mice, totoros and just started your bear pattern. Thank you so much for your videos, patterns and sharing your creativity.

I've only ever made square things (blankets, scarves, hot pads, etc.) and amigurumi has always scared me. I found an "easy peasy" catnip mouse pattern the other day and could not for the life of me figure it out, but I was still determined to make something for my kitty. This tutorial taught me SO many new things and it was so easy to follow along. Not to mention the fact that you have a very calming voice, which is extra helpful for someone like me who gets really upset and frustrated when trying to learn new things. Thank you for this amazing tutorial and your entire channel. I'm actually excited to learn more! When I make a better mouse, I'll be sure to post a photo to your Facebook page! (I was totally unprepared and I didn't think I could actually finish this project, so I had no stuffing and it was 1am by the time I got close to finishing... So I stuffed it with a plastic grocery bag and it looks sort of lumpy, but at least I learned how so that I can get the right supplies and make more!)
    Thank you again!!!

I'm just learning how to crochet, and this video is really easy to follow. I messed up somehow along rows 8-9 and ended up with 20 stitches on row 8, so I compromised instead of tearing the row apart by just stitching the last two stitches together on row 9. I still ended up with 18 in the end! Might look a little wonky when I'm done, but for a first amigurumi piece, I'll be happy as long as it looks mostly like a mouse!

Very nice video! I haven't crocheted in YEARS, but vaguely remembered the basic stitches. I was able to follow your video very easily and make my very own mouse. I added catnip in with the stuffing and our cats went crazy over it! I will definitely be watching your other videos! Thank you for making your tutorials easy to follow!

I know this has been uploaded a long time ago, but I still wanted to just say to Sharon Ojala, Thank you SO much for this clear and concise video tutorial! My mouse came out slightly smaller, but I think this is due to the fact that I'm using 3 ply yarn still said it's double knit however (UK person here) and a slightly smaller hook 3.5 mm since I don't own a 3.75 (definitely thinking of expanding my hook set!)
I absolutely enjoyed following your tutorial and learnt so incredibly quickly! Amigurumi has become one of my very favourite things to craft!

thank you so much for you easy to follow video!.
A couple years back I tried to teach myself crochet, I followed books and couldn't get rounds right at all. Recently tried again, another video helped me crack rounds. So I looked back to my book and tried crocheting a mouse, I followed the guide best I could, despite it being a bit confusing but my end result was no mouse.
I found your video, followed it and have a perfect mouse, despite me using a bigger crochet hook. Your instructions were far easier to follow and understand, even when written in the top right of your video. I also find your mouse has a better look to it than the one in my book.
so thank you again!! you helped teach me a skill I have wanted to have for a long time!

My friend crocheted and knitted a bunch of mice for our math teacher a while back and I named all of them and we called them The Mischief of Mice. The math teacher would pin a new mouse onto her blazer each day and it was a big thing. We put up a population sign above where they all sat- which was on a window. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad my teacher was cool like that 💪

I am loving them and my daughter is going crazy over them. Already she has a rabbit, an elephant, and I am working on a piggy. I am absolutely in love with your videos and once I get the yarn colors, and maybe quadrupling the pattern, I am going to make a huge totoro for myself. I love Totoro. Is there a chance you will do a Pikachu one in the future? Also, I will be doing your Coraline doll. The Coraline is for me.. but ... knowing my little girl, she will demand I share. IS there a chance you will do a Jack Skellington doll? I just can't thank you enough for making the videos that you make, you opened a whole new world of crochet for me.. and in doing that, you have given me another way to express my love to my daughter than spending tons of money on the latest toy ( she's 9 months btw ) and as I said... she LOOOOVES your designs. Thank you again Sharon.

Hello Sharon, oh my goodness..I just love your videos! Your work is second to none and instructions are so good and easy to follow, plus much appreciation for the written instructions on screen during the video..so helpful! I'm working on the mouse using crochet thread, if it turns out I'll put it on the facebook page. Have a great day! Patti
