Incorrect translation by the Kurdish guy unfortunately. The question is "any country you don't LIKE? " the guy translates it as "which country do you hate? ". Notice it's not just the wording here which is wrong but the way he frames it. As if you have to pick a country! @@bruhmcchaddeus413 no actually. Yea, after the establishment of the Republic, there were Kurdish tribes that revolted in eastern Anatolia, and these rebellions were suppressed by the "İstiklal Mahkemeleri". In fact, the main reason why the Kurdish question began to be voiced was the division of the people into pro-American and pro-Soviet after the 1960 coup. In the seventies, due to the totalitarian regimes of the politicians, our people were divided into two radical groups, briefly nationalist and revolutionary, and quite bloody events took place in this period. It was during these years that Abdullah Öcalan, who claimed to be a "revolutionary", organize a crime and terror syndicate PKK, based on the principle of self-determination. In those years, the radical right-wing and politicians who brainwash them unfortunately exposed the minorities, who had no crime, to racism through this terrorist organization. The main reason for racism against Kurds today is based on the reasons that i mentioned.
@Andreas Kallergis I know your comment will probably get more likes because people like to simplify and just agree with complex issues but you’re partially wrong: It is related to the cold war. The PKK was initially a Marxist-Leninist organisation. Hence the name “Worker’s Party”. They shifted in their political views after the Turkish military overthrew the government in 1980 after years of extreme violence between far right and far left organisations. This is the period in Turkey which saw an intensification of Turkish nationalism. And it’s this period when the Kurdish language was banned and other limits were given to the Kurds. Because the Turkish military junta (aided by the USA) saw the far left PKK (aided by the Soviets) which consisted mainly of Kurds as an internal threat and fully blamed the Kurdish community for it.
We are all human being, we should encourage each other to love one another, this is very sad. What dictatorships do around the World has nothing to do with normal people. all these people live their own countries and have their own countries to represent and protect them, and in those countries they all oppressed Kurds.
And if you think Kurds aren’t allowing others to have their language and culture then you don’t know anything at all about the region.
Again what a joke of a comment.
Incorrect translation by the Kurdish guy unfortunately. The question is "any country you don't LIKE? " the guy translates it as "which country do you hate? ". Notice it's not just the wording here which is wrong but the way he frames it. As if you have to pick a country! Thankfully most people understood that the English speaking guy ment "like" because those who picked a country didn't respond with " I hate..." they responded with "I don't like".. " I don't care very much for...." "I'm not very found of..." etc.

@@suss466 Ya, bırakın artık . There's obviously the autonomous region of Kurdistan in the north of Iraq. Why can't we let them have it? Kurds have been through hell and back. Why can't we acknowledge their autonomy there ? Bütün dünya bizden artık nefret edıyor. Türklüğümden utanıyorum senın gibi insanlar yüzünden. The only reason we don't recognize it, is out of sheer spite.
As a Turk i really would like to apologize to anyone who has been subjected to racism. People in this video are innocent and got nothing to do with it yea but it was more of kurdish fault than turks lol what u talking about? & I am not even turkish
😊💖
@Andreas Kallergis
I know your comment will probably get more likes because people like to simplify and just agree with complex issues but you’re partially wrong:
It is related to the cold war.
No keep the racism going. It's good.
