I'm from the UK, London and I have been in Erbil for almost a year and a half. I can confirm that it is very safe here and the people are very friendly and welcoming. The food is good, the weather is hot in summer and chilly in winter. It's much more modern than I had expected, lots of American - style shopping malls and colourful electric light buildings. It is a very historic place, the Citadel is ancient, huge and well worth a visit. It is a very nice place to be! Come to Kurdistan!!! 👍

No international body recognize northern Iraq as a separate region, They are still sending MPs to bagdad , Even the president is from Northern Iraq. Khalid I once went to that refugee camp back in primary school as a team..... once you go there there's no coming back from those emotional feelings I can never forget how they lived and their horrible stories....whenever I'm hopeless I always get reminded of them......
