I'm from the UK, London and I have been in Erbil for almost a year and a half. I can confirm that it is very safe here and the people are very friendly and welcoming. The food is good, the weather is hot in summer and chilly in winter. It's much more modern than I had expected, lots of American - style shopping malls and colourful electric light buildings. It is a very historic place, the Citadel is ancient, huge and well worth a visit. It is a very nice place to be! Come to Kurdistan!!! 👍

This is one of the most useful and important videos you 've uploaded. Often people choose to ignore such regions and go for all the bling..but getting up close with different communities no matter how remote is a crucial task. Thank you for helping us witness such a diverse society!
Too many wrong visits, too many imbalances, too many wrong choices! You cannot visit Kurdistan and consider yourself a Muslim but not mention Muslims among all religions! Muslims are the majority, the mosques are the most beautiful, we have the greatest history of Islamic civilization, but instead you talk about dancing!

Actually, the Kurds originate from the Zagoros mountains of Iran. They're Persian and belong in Iran. So Iran should spare land for their Persian people. Iraq, Turkey and Syria must get rid of these Persians.

Thank you for sharing your journey to Kurdistan. When I moved to San Diego in '99 I had to find a daycare for my one year old son. I was blessed to find an in home daycare and the family was Kurdish. They took great care of my son and all the kids they watched. I loved my son's daycare provider like she was my own family. Even her husband and their kids would help out when they came home from school and work.

The main religion is Islam and also and it's very misleading to associate your video with beginning of show church and associate kurds with zerdasht while that religion only in some regions and definitely not main religion. We do have also old and wonderful moskes as well you can associate mainly kurds which is correct and main religion in region for your information

Kurdish people are friendly and Erbil it's a safe city, with cheap, tasty and healthy food sold in some street places, also in the Bazaar near the Citadel. I invite you for the Newroz in Akre, normally in March. I was in Kurdistan twice, and preparing to visit there again.

@@Diacosafari89 This is a TH-cam channel with a Muslim creator family. The video shows the Kurdish people, the life, Muslim life and refugees striving to make a different life for themselves. The OP is Kurdish and Muslim, happy to see a video featuring their country and they are free to say if they are Muslim. Others have commented their religion, but only you seem to have a problem with it. If you dislike it why watch a video on channel where the family are Muslim. Peace to you, try being nicer, it doesn't cost anything.
@@vaw796 I'm not blind I see what's happening there, I don't understand why people bring up religion and at the same time hope God brings these people out of their misery. Has that ever worked, of course not people need to be realistic that guy who has mentioned bis religion wouldn't give a nickle to those less unfortunate. He only relies on God for everything. Ya the creator is Muslim what does that have to do with what I said, and baderkhan isn't Muslim.

He hasn'tvsaid anything wrong and you have made it into a huge thing. This video shows the different religions in Kurdistan and how it is important to people. You are ignorant of the 5 pillars of Islam, because charity is one of them. Muslims are meant to give charity and help others, so you are wrong, the OP has probably given more to others than you and I combined. Peace to you.
