Good day, I love your videos very informative and helpful. How will I know what is the standard range resistance of a circuit? Thanks more videos please.
Hi guys, excellent, and very insightful video. A quick question if I may. I have run through all the testing, and swapped all the bits from bank1 to bank2, and I am still getting the 30BB code. I measured the MOSFETS in the MSD80, and they all test fine. So now I am out of ideas. Any insights? Where else should I be looking?
I see that DME drustly reducing injection time while detecting detonation due to injector leak (very common problem on this engines) and this is software fault . Thought you have found the way to fix it. Looks if you remove knock sensor at this time engine will turn to normal run much faster without falling into error state with cutting injector off. So you do not need to restart the engine after warming up to run it smoothly again.
I’m running into an issue with 2E1A fault code for my 08 335xi with N54 engine on MSD80 ECU. Is it possible to clone MSD80 and load it into MSD81 to avoid any CAS/key replacements?
Bossman you helped me out b4 & I promise you I won’t bother you again…. Like you said before throwing money at it I done everything I possibly know on switching coils & plugs but misfire stays in cylinder 5 ONLY after the temp gets ova 190… that’s the only time it’ll misfire under WOT could you PLEASE tell me what you think or what my next move should be…& thank you so much for your great info
Hi. If you have swapped the coils and injectors and the problem stays at cylinder 5 then we would recommend checking the continuity of the wiring from each back to the ECU. If the wiring checks out ok, then the fault could be with the ECU itself. If this is the case then we can test your unit to confirm this if you would like. @@Ecutestinglimited bossman thank you thank you so so much I’ll do the injector when I get off today and if it stays at cylinder 5 I’ll DEFINITELY reach out to your website
Hi. For diagnosing the 30BA/30BB fault codes you will not need to re-code the injectors as the code should clear if the fault was being caused by the bad injector that has been removed. If the fault is caused by a bad injector then you will need to re-code the replacement injector.
Let me check if you have a vid for throttle body code. E90 323i I have 4.9V on 4 of the 6 pins when i switch on my car, pin 1 4.9v,pin 2 4.7v,pin 3 4.6v,pin 5 4.9v no throttle responds and potentiometer 1 error code 002cf9. And P0123. Remove the throttle body from intake start car and it sounds better for a few sec off course.

I have a 2008 BMW e60.
Thanks for the educational video

Hello! May I ask if you change any chip inside an ECU, Do you need to reprogram it? Thank you!
What a helpful video. Loads going to use this going forward. Thanks. Used your service in the trade. Expensive but thoroughly good.
4:49 does the harness have to be at .02 ohms exactly because I test on my harness on injector number one at the pins both wires and was at .03
Hi. A reading of 0.3 ohms would be acceptable and wouldn't indicate a wiring fault.

Please make a video about the operation of the gas valve and gas pedal
