Please forgive the shakiness at the very end. The signed vinyl resting next to my leg while I was recording slipped to the floor and needed to be rescued. :)

Marty and the group has aged as an old fine wine. Now an important piece of american country history. I love them.
I hope these guys play for another 100 years. There’s no one else like them.
I liked that little salute to willie's guitar playing in Marty's solo.
And I said that the first solo, before he actually said it later!
Marty is a legend and should be in the Hall of Fame! One of the all time greats!
When Willie and Paul passed me by they was looking high and I couldn't help but thinking, the Doobie brother's. I've had so many good memories along the way but I've forgotten most of them, thanks Willie that was some killa kind, I'll never forget ol what's her name, just kidding. These days humor is needed more than ever. Marty is one cool cat and he's been playing and singing a long time and I'm sure he's seen it all. Music is the universal language that cuts across all barriers and brings people together. There's nothing more beautiful than the song of the human heart and it's truly a gift from above. In the beginning our Creator said let there be light and so the Universe was set in motion by vibration. All songs begin and end the same way, with silence. Music is vibration, the notes that are played, the words that are sung. Blessed are those who carry the music into this world, blessed are those that receive it with thanksgiving always. In the beginning God created one Man and so the question must be asked, who is he at war with? Man is at war with himself. Will he ever find his way and see himself as he truly is? Well it was the time of the preacher in the year of 01 and just when you think it's all over it's only begun....
I'm an old man now too old to run it's here i take my moccasins off and fight to the death to give the people a chance to escape the soldiers who pursue us. We aren't subjects and slaves we are the children of our Creator and the Earth is our home, we know who we are.
The greatest entertainer on the planet and his songs are the best kind to play drunk or stoned or sober
They can play succinct songs or stretch it all out like the best jam bands. Fabulous Superlatives indeed.
An amazing song on its own merits but also within the context of the Willie narrative . Marty has such an inside track on everything that has gone on and continues to in American country music. He and his band do what they do for all the right reasons and hearing them is always an inspiring thing.

As i rewind, and grab a refreshment... This video/recording is magical. Thanks to Marty & crew for recording this. Having been a Willie fan since 1970, having been the 15 year old walking into Farm Aid 2 with a case of Beer, taking our kids to multiple picnics!, i can honestly say that this recording will make me cry the most. marty, you have spent your career playing to the crowd, and this is your time. I can't wait to see you in Philadelphia, MS. and i cant wait for the opening of the Musuem. Maybe i have some stuff of interest??? Talk soon.
