    This is the best insight into the golf swing, especially once you’ve been playing for a while but knew you were missing something.

    When I’m struggling on the course I take a moment to take a few practice swings using your teachings and it always gets me back on track! Old habits die hard!

    I thought I'd seen and heard every explanation of the way to swing the club. This is such a great feel. Thank you for this video!!

    I really like the way you teach and some of your swing thoughts have really helped me and my game, but I was wondering if you could do a putting video

    Outstanding Johathan, I'll say if I listened to your teachings 3 to 4 years ago it would of gone straight over my head, I've become pretty educated in how the body works in a golf swing because of watching your videos, and of course other golf instructions, if this makes sense I've had a few replacement surgeries from injuries or just parts wearing out as we get older, that helped me understand how the body works in a golf swing also. The school of hard knocks I would call it lol, anyway, I think your understanding of how we can get the best results and how the human body reacts to certain movements we ask it to do is absolutely perfect to my brain, I understand every explanation you state, which is inspirational and motivational. So thank you you for sharing your knowledge.Big fan of yours!

    One of the best summaries of the golf swing ever. Great ideas going to try and implement them in my practice!

    I love the swing theory. Thanks for taking the time to share with us, it’s always appreciated

    Hey coach, I have read that Tour players typically have a forward tilt of the pelvis between 20-30 degrees at setup which I see with you (like water in a bucket being dumped forward). At impact, this forward tilt levels out or even tilts backwards (like water being dumped backwards). Do you have any recommendations on pelvic tilt and also on the importance of engaging the core, side obliques, etc that would help protect the back and somehow correlates to what you are are emphasizing in this video?

    true to all that you teach...I do all of what you said and it works and it contradicts all the typical golf lessons which really don't help

    Jonathan, thanks for your efforts to help us weekend warriors get better in golf. Keep up the good work! Quick reflection and question. It seems that this idea can also be used in the backswing and to promote shoulder tilt in the backswing as well. Or? Meaning that you push left hand down the shaft and right hand up the shaft. Sort of squeezing the grip together. In a way the hands have already from the start in the setup position“passed” five o’clock and we are going in clockwise direction. What are your thoughts about this? Could this also help avoiding taking the hands inwards too early etc etc and keep everything closer to be on plane?

      Yes, it works in both directions.

    My sense is that this is really important. But it's hard to follow. My wish is that he redoes it with a different structure. What you make happen. And what you let happen.

    So if the ball is at 12 o’clock I throw my club head at 4 o’clock? I seem to come massively from inside if I do that. Help!

      @@JonathanTaylor63 as I stand over the ball, it is at 12 o’clock on a clock face painted on ground. I am at 6. So do I throw my wrists towards the 4 o’clock position?

    • @JonathanTaylor63
      @JonathanTaylor63  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ok, now I understand. If you are coming too far from the inside you just need to work on your hip and shoulder turn, both of which will neutralise your swing direction.

    This is so wrong it's almost funny. No wonder golf is so hard for everyone to learn when crap like this is promoted. Nice theories but totally wrong.

    way to over complicate the golf swing! good grief!
    just fire the hips first and hands will follow like ben hogan taught. easy.
