    Hi, John!
    I received Ninja’s pre-sale notice on this puppy. 😉 I have to say, I’m impressed! 👍🏻
You answered so many of my questions regarding this oven..so a BIG thank you.
I may have to get this one. One thing for sure, it would crank out plenty of biscuits 🤣
Thank you for always sharing with us🤗

Hi John, Another awesome review and demo video. I’m shocked at that oven cooking 2 large pizzas at the same time perfectly. I’m very impressed with this new Ninja Oven. I wonder how it air fries breaded chicken. I like your ceramic ‘thumbs up’ thingamajig. Thanks for sharing.🍃🌺🍃

The trick to crispy air fried breaded chicken (I use seasoned panko) is to toast the breadcrumbs first with some oil before breading the chicken. I always make a big batch of chicken cutlets this way and freeze them before cooking them. Makes chicken parmesan one of the quickest dinners to make! They cook so fast even from frozen in my ninja Foodie original oven.

I just got mine yesterday and I've made several things already. It took 80 minutes to cook a small (3.5lb) chicken when the directions said it would take 50-55min for a 5lb chicken. I cooked some cubed and seasoned potatoes in the basket at the same time and the right half of the basket got done way faster than the left. Same with the chicken. And it took 15 minutes for the oven to get to 375deg. So then I made some toast according to directions. Set to lvl 4, by the end, it wasn't toasted at all so I added 3 more minutes and finally the top was done, but the bottom wasn't toasted. So then today I made frozen pizza. Two Red Baron pizzas according to directions. The right side of both pizzas got brown and the left side wasn't done. So I had to rotate them and add an additional 10 minutes. Even then, the edges were very brown, the center of both pizzas were hot-ish, but you didn't have to pull your finger away kinda hot. And the crusts were limp. Did I maybe get a defective unit? Or is this typical?

I just got my xl air oven two days ago. I tried two level air frying using the airfry basket and the roast rack to make roasted potatoes in the fry basket and chicken boneless fritters on the roast rack, I must say that roast rack is not good for air frying. The chicken also got stuck to it, the results were - potatoes were excellent while chicken was ok. I also had a hard time cleaning the roast rack even after soaking it. I noticed you mentioning about using a second air fryer basket for 2 level air frying. I was thinking of doing the same. Thank you so much for the video.

I was so impressed by the evenness of the original Ninja Oven in your earlier review, it’s really tough to be matched by this one. Those bagels looked great though. I need a new countertop oven, but the last one never showed up at Sam’s. I’m tempted to get the grill instead, though. There’s only two in my household, and I doubt I need anything this big. I love doing the little pizzas in my Foodi Pressure Air Fryer. Another fantastic review.

Hi , great reviews John. Just got the dt201 . Cooked a spatchcock with vegies on top rack insertedat 30 kin remaining time. Had to add another15 min to the preset. Veggies were somewhat dried and chicken was as good as i do it on the bbq just outside my door .. tryin' to convince myself i need this to replace my toaster over that i use every day for toast. The main reason i ended up on this unit is i can use most of my already acquired 12 muffin trays and standard pans as long as they don't have exaggerated protruding handles.
That being said , my question is do all ovens, convection or air fryer get hot as a wood stove on the outside... don' t even try setting your hand on it for over half a second. Wouhhh !!!
Oh and there seemed to be a good amount of smog in the house after 75 min of cooking chicken.

John, I sure wish you'd take a minute and explain the 3 levels this oven comes in. It is MY understanding that the DT251 is the full blown version with the thermometer. And the DT201 is EXACTLY the same as the DT251 except the DT201 doesn't include the thermometer. And finally there is the DT200, often called "the Walmart" version is the same as the other two except it also doesn't include the thermometer AND it is missing two presets: dehydration and reheating. I am not positive my information is correct but I think it is. It is the annual Prime sales event right now on Amazon and I JUST ordered the DT251 for $229! Cha-Ching!

I have an Oster French Door countertop oven. I have never been happy with its performance (the fan is on the side). It has a bulge in the back so a 9x13 pan will fit front to back. So the interior dimensions are large but who cares if the performance isn't the greatest! I have been asking this question on several websites - what are the INTERIOR DIMENSIONS of the unit? I want one that fits at least a normal sized 9x13 pan will fit side to side... I never trust the units that come with their own pans - they're usually too small to fit normal sized pans and most of us want to be able to do that... That's what sold me on the Oster... PLEASE let me know the INTERIOR DIMENSIONS of the unit! I will be forever grateful! Thanks for your time!!!

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I love the internal size of this oven... the pan it comes with fits with a little side to side clearance and it measures 11.5 X 13.5 inches the height is approx 8 inches from the top of the rack in its lowest position... hope this helps and thank you for watching!!!

Hi ..wanted to ask you a question...I own of of these ovens and I have 2 problems.that maybe you might have an answer.
We have used the air fryer for wings...and our whole house gets full of smoke while we are cooking them.
We followed the cooking from the recipe booklet that comes with the unit.Woukd you know why this would be happening?
The second problem is the fan blades have a lot of grease if them and I was wondering how I should go about cleaning the blades...I clean after each use..I am afraid the the build up would become a danger to a fire after a lot of use due to not being to clean the blades .
Ok I just hear. You have a shield on the fan....ok Mine doesn't have a shield.
Thank you for your help otherwise I will return the unit.
I really enjoy your videos very much and cooked several of your receipts.
