    *I like that I can "fry" something on a whim! An oil fryer takes so much more time to clean and prepare **MyBest.Kitchen** a chore which usually kept me from frying all together. Also, the lack of needing oil to fry means that my family and I are eating healthier... while still enjoying the crispiness of fried foods.*

    Hi Philip, I am a new subscriber I am a 72 year old Filipina living here in Florida. I enjoy watching your videos, as a matter of fact I used your recipe for chocolate chip cookies, and you are absolutely right, it's the best chocolate chip cookies!! My husband loves it. Thank you for this! I’m researching appliances now as we’re planning on doing a bus conversion build. My husband wants to go electric with everything to avoid having propane and I’m trying to find the best option for a convection oven/air fryer. Cooking a small turkey has been my biggest question with every model I look at. This just sealed the deal for me :)

    It’s fine to make pizza directly on the sheet pan, DO NOT place the pan on a lower rack with the pizza on a wire rack above it because that will just block the heat and the pizza won’t cook so evenly. Butter the pan or smear with olive oil for extra flavor and better baking results. Also (on page 14) the instruction manual actually RECOMMENDS either greasing accessories with butter or oil or covering with either parchment paper OR aluminum foil, just do not cover the roast tray.

    • @LoniD719
      @LoniD719 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Doesn't the book also clearly say not to use anything other than the recommended oils (butter and olive oil are excluded.)

  • @davidclark9086

    I have one of these and love it but there are some things I found difficult. First I need to know how to use only the top or bottom heaters and the instructions do not really give that kind of information. The fan causes problems with baking some breads because it is always on which results in one side or end of the bread drying out quicker than the other side. I would have really liked to have full details on the various functions. Air frying is the only setting that does not really need any details but I would exactly what the grill function is and how it works. Or roast versus whole roast cooking in real detail. Trial and error works great but is very time-consuming. I am still learning how to get my bread bake better. The video was well-made and very informative and I would really like to see a follow-up after he has used it for a year or more.

      @@PhilipLemoine I heard of a story in which someone bought fried chicken from a Shoprite supermarket, but when they went to reheat the chicken in the oven, the oil from the chicken began to smoke very badly with a pool of oil at the bottom of the oven. Even when that bottom pieces was removed and the oven cleaned thoroughly, spots of oil surfaced on or around the heat bars, which caused the oven to smoke up badly again when the person tried to toast two slices of bread. This is why I wanted to know if, since you are testing this machine, if you could perform the same task and report on it with honest feedback from your testing this oven.

I do have one little comments I'd like to add, with all respect. I have a hearing disability and while I wear hearing aids and can hear your video, the one thing that has always bugged me when watching videos is when people put music in the background. It is SOOOO annoying and distracting to the narrative being offered. I tuned in to your video because I wanted to hear what YOU had to say about this Ninja - I didn't want to listen to music. Oftentimes the audio isn't as clear as it could be and when there's music in the background, it takes away from the presentation. Hi, Philippe, o bought this machine. I just found when I bake the cake or duck fat pastry, I followed the receipt, the temperature and the bake time, but the products seem not good. I don’t know why.

    Are there two 10 in 1 ovens? One oven and one Air Fryer? Or is it one and the same? Thanks

    Hmmm.... sounds great! I wonder if the inside liner is teflon coated? I have a large 40 year old parrot and as most know teflon kills parrots.

    Fan is only that loud when it's ramping up at first. It goes to a quieter speed when it's just maintaining a temperature.

    You said you can't cover anything in aluminum foil. Does that include baking things in aluminum foil, like pies or other kinds of foil pans?
