“If you go to a rave and you’re not on ecstasy or some other drug, you stick out like a sore thumb” 😂😂😂 I’ve been to many a party sober af and had an amazing time and I didn’t feel out of place at all.
all news interviews talking about the danger of music (usually either raves in general or hip hop) are prime material to drop in a track or set. i came here to download it and sample it lol
I went to raves in Pittsburgh throughout the mid to late 90s and never did any drugs there. On farms, in malls, wherever. Nobody cared. It was all about dancing and music and having a good time.
“This could be the night your child ventures into a secretive an potentially dangerous world! The world of the Rave!”- I would ask my child if I could tag along that world tune sounds like my type of fun.
By 1997 everyone knew what a Rave was. This was way behind for the time. I started going to raves in 91. Around 1992-94 it was still underground for the most part but by 95 it started seeping into the mainstream. By 97 it’s already old news.
30 years passed show that the way of "thinking" is not really evolving. TLDR: - new cultural event emerged called raving, where young people spend their time dancing with others - there are drugs over there - drugs are bad and dangerous - drugs killed Casey and Trevor - Linda lost her health to drugs - police didn't know there were drugs - police can't handle the drug problem over there (but in much cosier words) - but police knows where raves are - police also knows how to handle doors, doorknobs and yellow-black police tape - solution: close and ban all raves. youngs instead of doing dance music and soulsearching in desolate buildings can steal, join gangs and do drugs in desolate city streets.
More than likely, the media is only focusing on the negative. But ravers making comments on here are more than likely trying to bury how dangerous these raves can be. Be careful and use common sense.

The kid they interviewed is a legend "If we gave you E right now, you'd want another one" 🤣😂😂😂
1997: “Many of these drugs are addictive … and dangerous”
2024: Many of these drugs are used to help people with addiction and psychological issues. 😂
Only reason they were dangerous was because of prohibition. How much longer until they figure that out.
Remember my mother freaking out after this came on because I was going to one that night
My dj friend mixed these soundbites back in 98. Lol

Well, it's a good thing the cops got rid of raves. Good policework there, team!

Raves don't kill, drugs do. If that person wants to get hi they will raves or not.
Guaranteed no one doesnt have a good time on ecstacy.
That's got to be a plant I never saw people pushing drugs like that, I mean they got around but never saw a pusher
