I really want to begin producing books for KDP and I am learning a lot each day and also practicing to make covers and learning how to do the interiors but have not done a book for KDP YET. I just search popular names and mix match them. I got 4 or 5 pen names

What if someone chose the same pen name as yours? What happens if a few authors have a similar pen name? When I chose my domain name for my blog, specific search engines can tell you if the domain name is available for blogs or used on social media platforms.
Before you choose an author name, you can do a search on Amazon to see if there is already somebody with the same name.

Hi Nuria, is it okay to use 3 words name? For example James William Duncan, or we use James W. Duncan?
Whichever you prefer, just check that it's not already taken.

I have used My name as a primary author name while publishing my book. But I want to add these books under a separate author page based on their niche so is it possible to add a brand name in the contributor field and create an author page using this contributor or company name and add these already published book under this author name. pls reply as soon as possible
No, you can't have an author page for a contributor, the author page is for the author. You can use different author names to brand but make sure they are person's names not company names and don't include any keywords.
And how you check if they are already available on amazon ?
Nuria, thank you for the video! fun about name generator :). Question: is it a good idea to take your company's name for the publisher? (I have a sole proprietorship for now, later at some point will register a corporation), it is not trademarked though (too expensive for me). And do people usually add a word "Publishing" or "Designs" ?
I have used a brand name for my books that has the word 'publishing' in the author name, but I noticed that recently Amazon prefer people to use 'real' people's names, so going forward, I will start to use only names that sound like people. This can still be a good way to brand your books, it didn't do J.K. Rowling any harm 😀

What if I have not gone through the process of establishing a company? My daughter (she's the illustrator) and I (the writer/layout designer) are partnering up to create low-content books. I want to use our middle names as the "author name." Do we put this same name (let's say it's Sally + Penny) on the copyright page as well? Does that copyright hold up if we aren't putting our full names and have not established a company name as Sally + Penny?
My advice is to ask a professional, like an accountant or lawyer, because everybody's situation will be different. For example, I don't have a company, I am a sole trader, registered as self-employed but may look into registering a limited Company in future. It really depends on the country you're in and your personal circumstances. When you create a book, it is automatically copyrighted to you.
Hi! I just joined your channel today... trying to figure this KDP out and start designing books. Questions - What do you think of Book Bolt? Is it ok to just have one pen/author name? And since this video was posted almost a year ago can you still use Press or Publishing in the name? I would swear another video I saw said it was not a good idea but I can't find it, so maybe I misunderstood. I really like you so much and will watch all of your videos! You are so open and genuine. Hi DAnna, thank you so much for your kind comments. Book Bolt is great for beginners as it offers so many tools in one from keyword research to design to interior templates. It is ok to just have one author or pen name but you can have many if you wish. I think it's still ok to use Press or Publishing in a pen name if you're building a brand but I am personally not doing this any more and publish under a person's name, but that is completely up to you. Amazon doesn't like keywords in the pen name, a lot of people were using 'colouring books' or similar as pen names, which is not allowed any more.
