The sound we are getting is strange sounds like a a male lion in a temper. I think it is the sound recording not the bike because your voice was different whilst the bike was running. Love your’s and Kevin’s work together. Thanks good TH-cam buddies.
All going well. For the float height adjustment, the guidance from Amal for the new type StayUp floats is to have them slightly proud of the float bowl sealing surface...unlike the original floats which were to be about a mm or so below the sealing surface. Not sure it makes a huge difference, but ideally you want both floats set the same height as this affects fueling to the pilot jet for good idling. BTW, I noticed your right rear turn lamp rotating from vibration while sat there idling....needs snug up.
Nice work! Maybe if you get it out and put some power to the wheels the smoke might clear up. Had a similar issue with a Royal Enfield Interceptor recently, but once it got a couple of miles on it, she cleared right up.
I had a similar flooding issue with a concentric carb on, coincidentally, a Norton 850. Eventually tracked it down to the float bowl gasket protruding slightly into the bowl and fouling the float, preventing it from rising fully and shutting off the valve. A bit of trimming of the gasket, and everything worked fine after that.
You are exactly correct! I've seen that also. Weird and unusual but still something to be checked! Thank you. I hope everyone on the channel sees this suggestion. F.
@@fjdelmonte I was going to suggest the same issue....gasket interference. Other items to consider....the tickler plunger itself...sometimes they can be distorted a little where they contact the float and either need bending or at least rotating to change the angle of contact etc. And of course, confirming the bowl sealing surface is dead flat...but that would not be your issue here as leak was definitely from the tickler mechanism.
Why not just put your name on the title as the buyer, if it hasn't been filled out yet? As long as the guy who's name is on the title signed it, you should be okay.

Can't put my thumb on the reason I really enjoyed this particular video. Great job.

Frank, one of the last true craftsmen! Such a pleasure to watch you work. Thanks for posting these videos!

Dam that sounds GOOD !
The neighbors may *disagree* with me though..
nice to hear it run, for the flooding carb is the tickler sticking?
With that much compression it's probably just the oil control rings stuck.
A pre tickle accelerator.
Tighten the Right Rear Turn signal 😂
Cute. Thank you soooooo much brother.

Hmmm. Interesting. I gonna think about that. Hmmm.
