This all makes sense too if you consider Ayano into the mix too. When we enter her mind, we have this flashback how Shiba became Game Master. Shiba goes on about setting Shibuya soul on fire to which Ayano just replied as such: "As the long as the road ahead of us is safe" Then it goes back to present with Ayano mentioning one after another fell and how she can't forgive Shiba. Add in that Shiba used her and Shokas bond as a weapon and the two girls like dirt, breaking promises and basically sending Ayano to her own execution. This all adds into Susukichi wanting to take down Shiba too. You can tell they were family at some point, which explains even more why Ayano was clinging so much onto Shoka cause she realized she can't trust the likes of Shiba anymore and Shoka was the new kid who wasn't knee deep into all this. Meanwhile, Susukichi admits he wanted to help Ayano when he arrived after she was erased and if you read between his lines there too, you can see how he tried to support Shoka. "It ain't like her to make a loud move like that. She must have been willing to do anything to make you two a pair again. That disc ain't flipping back. She made her move, what region she plays in now is up to her, you got that Shoka? " That's basically just saying "Ayano was not herself and she liked you so much it consumed her to be with you again. But you cant reverse this now. Ayano's obsession was her undoing, you are not at fault Shoka"
And the way the context changes throughout the game makes it so much better. For the first and second fights it might be talking about susukichi going into berserker rage and losing himself or something like that, and by the third fight it becomes clear it’s susukichi talking about losing his friend shiba. Nuts.
I think this was my favorite Boss Fight in the game. Difficult, but a fair challenge. Also, c'mon man. You could've worked with us if you were going to fight Shiba anyway.
I just finished the final boss. Like 2 mins ago. I felt that final boss sequence was amazing. Everything expect the damn camera. Sucked balls. Kept switching left and right........ so i agree, this is now the best boss design lmao

I'd say this fight is a bit of a skill check, most boss fights I didnt have to abuse dodge invincibility frames or pay super close attention to every boss attack. This is easily the best fight in the game, deservedly so from my favorite "antagonist" of the game.
@@N4p0100 yea the damage is no joke, you cant out damage the damage he does to you its dodge or lose lol. But I think this is where I started using a healing pin and it was actually really useful.
My hint to those who might be having problems: I used ranged pins and that helped me stay away from him so that 1/2 of the attacks (especially in the first phase) basically did nothing. With the noise being lower than the ones you're used to at this point you should be able to dodge them without too much worry. You should be able to spam groove 300 if you do it enough
@@potatoesblink3299 No, bro. I'm old, like early 30's now, and this whole GAME makes my hands hurt. Doing 10 chain reductions trying to level up pins in Week 3 has my hands aching all the time. Feels bad. I feel like I can't enjoy this game as much I could have if I were a bit younger.
so it took me about 4 tries, I got used to how he attacked and used mostly long rage pins, except 2 that regenerate health as you deal damage and took me about 7 min after that and the 300% groove attack comes well in handy to deal that extra chunk of damage at the end without much compromise, I played in Hard
My experience with this fight was essentially "Oh wow this fight is easy! Kinda sucks considering this is the penultimate boss!" (Did not know the plot twists at the time) then the second phase hit I think i died about 5 times I suffered

How’s your HP full again in his 2nd phase? Mine was still very damaged from the first fight so it made it extremely hard to win against him. Also where did you find the pins you got for your OP team attack?

I assume he’s in that pose is because he likes that checkers game with flipping discs and such So despite his muscular physique and combat style to this point. This is how he truly fights
Probably the easiest and the most predictable boss yet. Played Hard and Level 1 with both HP Vampire Melees with Neku and Rindo for the maximum Groove bonus. Seriously, you can take much damage and heal it back with both JotM and Hog Fang Regen Accessories. Dont forget Neku's OP Atk IV shoes
No. All the bosses are easy. What is his gimmick? Electric shock behind truck to avoid on first phase is already a giveaway. His 2nd form are easily readable, even his electric orb attack which easily iFramed like Minamimoto's teleport swipe (even its secret variant on Another Day is a joke with Saint Autumnus set) You wanna know whats the only hardest thing in this game? Nagi Dive events. Especially the one on Week 3, where they expect you to melt Big Noises in a span of short seconds.

@@pn2294 Uhhh??? Thats your only problem? This game has an exploitive way of dodging since the enemies are locked on in a way that you switch a character to avoid Frog Hops or Crow carries. You literally have access in ways you can sustain your way out of bosses. And honestly Susukichi Cantus form is way too easy to flex at. The only deal to make his fight harder is his excessive damage compared to other bosses to compensate with his little to none mobility.
@@pn2294 and to take into account, there are multiple threads that can save your from being one shotted. You literally have Beat's Def III and access to Rindo, Fret, Nagi and a universal HP III One piece suit. And you have Regen III (still making this a point) being the most broken accessories you can bring for Week III due to the fact that you *can* stall to regain back to your health. You also have Shoes that can avoid One Shots as a cherry on top. This is what made Susukichi really easy. Heck, Noise reductions are much more harder than the entirety of the bosses.

The song that plays during this fight (We’re Losing You) isn’t the kind of music I was expecting from a JRPG, but I welcome this surprise.

Its a fair fight until hard mode which makes it unfair cuz of the lock on system and the freakin birds. I hate those birds......

This boss was the hardest one for me so far…I spent 2 hours attempting it and finally beat him. My hands hurt😭
Mine did too. I have carpal tunnel so I was taking a full break after this fight lol

Best way to level up is to do reduction battles on hard or ultimate difficulty. Gives increased xp
