      I love this method because it has fewer points of contact which is great for fine hair. ❤️

    i wish i dared go to a hairdresser with my thin hair. last time they put me up with a newbie girl and she couldnt handle my hair. i am forever doomed getting sad results. i wish i could find an experienced hairdresser that made this kind of result for once.

      Working with fine, thin hair can definitely be a challenge. It’s very easy to cut out too much hair and cause serious issues. I’m sorry that you had a bad experience. If you’re ever in Colorado, give me a call. I’d love to help.

    I certainly understand why people with fine thin hair issues get extentions. However, do not believe it when people try to say extentions don't cause any hair damage at all. Some installation methods are
    less damaging than others. However, all extentions cause some stress and damage to your natural hair, with maybe the exception of a halo extention. Even the halo wire can cut into the scalp and be uncomfortable and cause some thinning, especially for those with fine thin fragile hair.

    • @thejeshitch
      @thejeshitch  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Every method has varying risk for damage for sure. Some methods have more risk and some have less. A lot of that risk depends on the level of skill and education the artist has. A lot of damage can occur with improper home care as well.
      No method can guarantee with absolute certainty that zero damage will occur.
      However, the right method for the guest with an skilled and educated artist and the right home care routine can make all the difference.

    Great job!! How many rows of wefts did you end up putting in? Has the hair ever felt like it’s putting too much pressure and weight in her own hair? I’ve had tape ins for 3 years and my hair is so broken and busted. I need to find a different method so this really interested me. Can you give an idea on how much the hair and installation costs for this? Thanks!!

    • @thejeshitch
      @thejeshitch  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jenna has VERY fine hair so we do the minimum amount of weft for her. She wears two rows. Her bottom row has three wefts and her main row has four wefts.
      And yes, extensions that are too heavy can absolutely cause breakage and traction alopecia.
      This method is called Natural Beaded Rows. I can’t speak for nationwide pricing, and since pricing is so specific due to individual client needs and Artist expertise, it is hard to give general pricing too.
      However, I can say that MY pricing for extensions is all inclusive, and includes hair, color for your hair and the secondary hair, installation, cut, style, photos and video, and lunch during your appointment. That starts at $1000, but can range up to $5000, depending on the amount of work and desired outcome.
      A one row brunette is a lot less work than a bright platinum blonde with three rows. 😉
      Thanks for commenting and if you have any more questions feel free to reach out!

      This method utilizes cotton thread and aluminum beads, so there is thread between the beads. The hair is stitched to that thread kind of like a laundry line 😆

    Could the Olaplex be the problem?? I noticed my hair looks like hers - after I used the product.

    • @thejeshitch
      @thejeshitch  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, there is nothing in Olaplex that will break the hair. Her hair has looked like this well before using Olaplex and has gotten better after using it.
      As far as your experience with the product, there could be a couple different reasons you had an issue but without knowing your hair history and how the product was used I can’t narrow it down.

    Honestly she shiuld look into her diet and try a grass fed beef diet. My friends mom was the same way and she ended up eating more pure carnivore type of diet and lost a little bit of weight and her hair really came back thicker and started growing faster. She thought it was her thyroid but the doc suggested this. Especially the bone broth. Idk if her doc it if shes tried a diet switch but id suggest to her looking into that ♥️

      @thejeshitch  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Thanks for your comment!
      Every 6-8 weeks your extensions are removed completely, the color of both your hair and the extensions is adjusted, and the extensions are reinstalled.
      With proper care, the secondary hair can last about 6 months, but I suggest switching out a few pieces of hair every few appointments. I’ve found that this is easier (and more cost effective) than switching out all of the hair every six months.
